Stop At: Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, 2 E South St, Raleigh, NC 27601
The meet up location to start the tour will be the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, it is on the edge the city so it makes a great starting and ending place. This building is a great example of Greek and Roman architecture revival and is where the symphony and off Broadway acts preform. I will also go over my introduction to the tour before this stop.

Stop At: City of Raleigh Museum, 220 Fayetteville St Briggs Building, Raleigh, NC 27601-1358
The next part of the tour takes us down historic Fayetteville St. Home of some of the oldest buildings in all of Raleigh, like the Briggs Hardware Building, Now the Raleigh City Museum. I will illuminate the importance this street has had on the rejuvenation of the city. 9.3 million dollars was spent on these 4 blocks and it was worth it!

Stop At: CAM Raleigh, 409 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC 27603-1819
Cam(Contemporary Art Museum) will be one of many stops in the this part of the tour in Raleigh's hip Warehouse District. Red Brick industrial buildings have been converted to loft apartments, galleries and breweries making it one of the fastest growing areas in the city.

Stop At: North Carolina State Capitol, Raleigh, NC 27601, USA
The Capital is is one of Raleigh's most historic buildings with a very unique history. We will also visit the Legislative Building that acts as the current capital. Right next to these buildings is the Raleigh Science Museum, rated the #1 attraction in the city currently, another stop on this part of the tour.

Stop At: North Carolina Executive Mansion, 200 N Blount St, Raleigh, NC 27601, USA
This portion of the tour will traverse down gorgeous Blount St., the location of some of the State's largest and most exceptional Victorian Homes. The Governors Mansion is an example of the Queen Anne style architecture. The construction of this building has a surprising history that I will inform you of.

Stop At: City Market, Raleigh, NC 27601
City Market is a major attraction located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Tourists and locals enjoy the open-air shopping and dining options that line the beautiful cobblestone streets. The newly renovated Moore Square Park, recently updated after a 2 year project will also be a part of this portion of the tour. Get an insight to Raleigh's culture while you join the locals at one of their favorite spots to gather.

There are two gravel parking lots next to the Red Hat Amphitheater(500 S McDowell St. Raleigh NC) This is a great option for free parking.
After 6pm and on weekends all parking downtown is free!
I know the City very well, so if you are in the general downtown area I'm happy to pick you up!

A great experience that I highly recommend! Chris (rickshaw driver) was friendly, knowledgeable, and a safe cyclist. He also made sure I was comfortable and prompted photo ops during the tour. Learned a lot and had fun!
