We offer touring/trekking bikes from Merida in frame sizes from 42cm to 58cm. In addition to the bike you can rent bike panniers and trailers and order hotel delivery and hotel pick up of the bikes within Tromsø.
When you rent the bike a helmet, bicycle lock, repair set with patch kit, necessary keys for adjustments, replacement tube, pump, lights mounted on the helmet, and reflective vest are included.
You can choose an easy few kilometers ride on a bike way along the sea or on the trail in the forest and visit all of Tromsø's highlights within a few hours: The botanical garden, Arctic cathedral, Prestvanet, Polaria, Tromsø Museum and Polar Museum for example. Relax together with local people at Telegrafbukta, the town's most beautiful sandy beach or find the best city lookout by the ski jumps on top of the island.
If you have more time you can head out of town and explore wilder nature and pristine parts of Kvaløya away from the city hassle.
The mountains surrounding the city provide great trails for the mountain bike lovers. The best of all: take your bike up the cable car and cycle back to town! You will need a mountain bike for this trip, contact Tromsø Outdoor for more details.
If you enjoy riding longer distances you can take a bus to Sommarøy, Tromvik, Oldervik, Lyngseidet, or Nordkjøsbotn or catch a ferry to Lysnes or Skjervøy and cycle back to Tromsø. Even better: make it a round trip!
Best of all: you can take your bike for 8-14 days holidays and cycle along the coast to Lofoten islands. This would be a holiday you would never forget!
By bike you can go to destinations unreachable by car or public transport and enjoy the spectacular landscape during your ride.

I needed a bike, to go arownd the town so i chosed realy simple city bike an it was just what i needed. But there was some serios road or mountain options.The whole procedure was easy and fast.

Hired a decent mountain bike. Staff were very helpful in suggesting routes. Next day swapped for a road bike and again they helped me with some nice routes/climbs.

Sødt og imødekommende personale, som gav mange gode råd til cykelturen! Selve cyklen var rigtig god i bakket terræn. Rigtig god oplevelse at leje cykler hos Tromsø Outdoor - de har også efterfølgende været hjælpsomme med råd og hjælp!

17.04.19 leide vi ski, sko og full skredpakke hos Tromsø Outdoor. Vi var tidlig på dagen og var eneste personene i butikken. Betjeningen var veldig hjelpsom og de fant raskt frem alt av utstyr vi trengte. Dynafit ski og støvler, samt skredutstyr fra BCA.
Kan varmt anbefale ski leie fra Tromsø outdoor.
