This is a ONE-WAY transfer from Naples to Positano/Sorrento or Positano l/Sorrento to Naples, with a 2-hour stop in Pompeii Ruins.
We pick up people from Naples Airport, Central Train Station, or Port, and every hotel and B&B or private residence in Naples to go to your destination in Positano/Sorrento.

On the way to your destination, we are going to stop for 2 hours in the Ruins of Pompeii
Our driver will give you a good commentary on the history of the site:
You will have 2 hours to explore this worldwide famous ancient ruin. “The Survived Town”, here you will feel the ancient drama of the historical eruption of the Volcano Vesuvius of 79 a.D. that destroyed and killed the town with its inhabitants. See the rest and casts of a Roman 2000-year-old city. Once done, we head back to the pickup location.
(We highly recommend hiring an expert guide inside the ruins to have a better experience, if you need it, ask in the note)

FAQ:
1) What happens if my flight/train is delayed? - 1 (one) hour of free waiting since the ETA of the reservation is included for this inconvenience. After that, the driver will wait for you for extra hours by paying +40€ per hour more in cash to the driver.
2) Does this transfer include time for lunch? This product does not include lunch. If you want to have lunch during your trip, you can have it according to the driver's availability and by paying the extra hours +40€uros/h.
3) What would happen if I needed more than 2 hours in Pompeii? - As written, this product only gives you 2 hours in Pompeii. We like to accommodate clients if they need a little bit more time to buy tickets or use the restrooms, but if you stay longer for your own choice or if you stay longer due to a shared group tour that you booked elsewhere: we have to charge the extra hours fee which is +40€uros to pay the driver in cash because it means that the driver need to wait for you longer.

Excellent driver, Mario, who gave us lots of tips and information about the Napoli/Amalfi Coast area. Very good driver who was punctual and friendly. We added the Pompeii stop last minute and so happy that we did. Our driver waited for us while we explored Pompeii with a tour guide. Overall fantastic experience, comfortable car, safe and knowledgeable driver!

We were picked up at the train station without any issue and Josef arranged for a private tour guide at Pompeii. She was great and very knowledgeable. After the tour, they dropped us off at our Hotel in Sorrento. Great service. Marco our driver was very pleasant and we were very happy with his professionalism and friendly approach. On our way to the hotel we drove by a restaurant that he told us had great pizza. We went there our first night in Sorento and it was delicious. Highly recommend Josef and his company.

Our driver Josef from amalfidriver was top notch. He was waiting at the train station when we arrived. He communicated promptly via WhatsApp. His English was excellent and he really knew the history of the area. He had so many facts to tell us on our way to Pompeii. We did ask him to hire a guide for us for our short visit to Pompeii. I would say that 2 hours is not enough for Pompeii but it gives you a good taste. This was great for us since we were on a tight schedule and didn’t have time for a separate Pompeii day/tour during our trip. The drive from Pompeii to Sorrento was smooth and we never felt like he was driving recklessly. We liked his service so much that we hired him for the transfer back from Sorrento to Naples. We had an early morning train and I needed someone trustworthy to show up on time. He was there promptly at the time promised and got us to Naples Centrale on time.

We were very happy with this experience. Being able to get from one point to another….with a stopover….knowing our luggage was safe while we saw Pompeii worked well for us. Communication and suggestions re what to do etc….was appreciated. And our driver was friendly and helpful. And our Pompeii guide was excellent.

Josef made it incredibly easy to find him (even in busy Positano traffic) and kindly obliged last minute request for additional pick up point. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and Italy in general. He spoke incredibly well and was a fun addition to our group. He also connected us with an amazing guide in Pompeii that allowed us to take in the most important parts of the ruins in the limited time we had to be there. We took lots of car services while in Italy and Josef was by far the best transfer of all. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough great things about this service and about our driver, Josef. He was personable, professional, communicative, and so informative. Finding him at the airport was extremely easy and he went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I made it safely to our Airbnb in Positano. We also highly appreciated the different recommendations he gave us for our current and future trips to Italy.

The ride was great and the service even better. The main driver was stuck in traffic because of an accident and wouldn’t get to the train station in time to pick us up, so the owner came and drove us to Pompeii! Then the driver met us there for the rest of the route. Such great service.
They also arranged for a private guide for us to help us through Pompeii (pay for that separately but so worth it!).
Would definitely recommend.
