We were greeted once out of arrivals by our driver with a name board. Soon on our way in a comfy van and swiftly transported to the port. Boarded the ferry on the van and upstairs for the sailing.
On the other side returned to the van and whisked off to ur hotel. At this point at checkin I realised I must have dropped my phone in the van. Once the reception contacted them I was soon reunited with it. A easy and friendly service.

the car is clean, big, and confortable. the driver also very nice. it’s a very convenient way to go to the hotel from Trat airport.

Der Flughafen Trat ist funktional. Das sagt es eigentlich auch schon. Kein Ort zum Verweilen.
Man fliegt halt von dort bzw. kommt dort an.
Und es gibt verdammt hübsche Flughäfen in Thailand - der hier zählt jedenfalls nicht dazu. Aber muss ein Flughafen optisch ansprechend sein???
Ja, warum denn nicht? Leider zählt Trat nicht dazu. Wer einmal Koh Samui erlebt hat, den überläuft bei Trat ein negativer Schauer. Katastrophe. Echt.
