The secretive Order of the Rosy Cross is looking for new members. In order to prove your worth, you must solve their ancient mystery and uncover the identity of one of their historic members, known to you only as A Secret Sender.
Explore Golden Age Amsterdam and search the history and architecture for clues to the cryptic puzzles. Only the best can solve the mystery in time. Do you have what it takes?
During the game, you will:
- 3km route through the city center, 2 hours play time
- Walk around discovering interesting buildings and monuments
- Solve puzzles while exploring with your friends
- Learn true stories from the city's history

I had the chance to participate in a team activity organised by Mystery City Game
It is a great way to discover ( or rediscover) amsterdam and pay attention to architectural details i had never looked at!
The game is really well made, as much for the story as the actual props (which are all made in house btw!)
Its not too difficult so you really get to enjoy walking around and discussing the questions, i recommend trying it!

Amazing way of discovering Amsterdam. We loved it! We took our Time and stopped to have coffees and lunch. We spent half day wandering and discovering the city.

The game consists of fun puzzles and a great way to experience the city. Learned a thing or two along the way. Good props and nice to see the thematic headquarters at the end.

We had a wonderful time solving the puzzles despite the wet weather while walking around the city. We retraced some of the steps done earlier with a bike tour and a walking tour and can say the game provided great coverage to sightsee if you aren’t doing other tours. We got distracted and popped inside the Old Church which was one of the stops. The map was clear and the clue book had a good variety of puzzles.

This is a really great way to see the city - we spent about 2 hours wandering around with the children, visiting 5 key sights and solving the puzzles - some moderately easy and some quite tricky. At no point did we get complaints that they were tired or bored, and it was great not to have to look at a screen for the afternoon!
I would thoroughly recommend this tour and look forward to doing them in other cities too!

Lovely views of Amsterdam, lots of fun and not too far to walk either. Had a fun time and our host was very kind aswell. Would recommend.
