Cooking is our passion, we grew up watching our mothers and grandmothers prepare every day recipes of traditional tuscan cooking. We are excited to share our recipes and the secrets of real tuscan food.
We will teach you how to prepare an authentic 5-6 courses tuscany lunch or dinner. Each of the 5-6 courses is paired with our local Tuscan wines. Most importantly, we teach you how the food should taste, and your senses will be delighted. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to enjoy a real tuscan family.
The menu is based on seasonal and local products from our area.
We also organise vegetarian and gluten free cooking classes, and we accomodate food allergies, just let us know!

Katia and Fulvio provided such a wonderful and welcoming experience with their cooking class. Not only were the ingredients beyond fresh, but the simplicity of the recipes made even the most hesitant cooks in our family feel confident. The dishes we made were authentic to the region and delicious. They were also able to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions from gluten to dairy to vegan. Highly recommend this class to couples and families of all ages and experience. My family cannot wait to visit them again in the future.

A fun and enjoyable experience. Delicious food prepared by ourselves under the guidance of our chef. Learned how to prepare pasta the Tuscan way from scratch. You won’t regret this class. A filling meal with different wines and olive oils.
They also offer an olive oil tasting class. Don’t miss out on this experience also. Learned a lot about the olive oil industry in Italy. You will know what to look for when buying olive oil.

We had such a wonderful time with Fulvio learning the Italian way of cooking. We cooked a number of dishes, including several pasta sauces, bruschettas and main courses, all paired with wine. Fulvio creates a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and he shared all sorts of cooking tips along the way. Food was delicious, and he emailed recipes so we can create these and more dishes at home!

We came to Il Vicario as strangers, prepared a lovely Tuscan dinner with instruction by Chef Katiya along with a cute younger couple from Boston and left feeling as though we’d spent an evening with old friends. The recipes were new to us , but not difficult to follow, and tasted amazing.

I don’t know where to even start this review. We arrived knowing that it came highly reviewed and recommended, and left feeling like we made new Australian and Swedish (and Italian!) friends.
The class included not only Italian appetizers and 3 courses, but also general cooking tips and discussions on how we cook at home, ingredients used and our general preferences.
We felt so at home with Katia and she is a natural teacher and amazing cook. While the “class” lasted more than the published 3 hours, we stayed even longer, talking around the dining room table with the other attendees, ending the night with exchanged contact info.
This was definitely the most memorable experience of our 2-week trip to Italy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a true and genuine Italian experience.
Can’t thank Katia enough for sharing her time and talents.

Words cannot describe how much fun we had with Katia and Uncle Fulvio. Learned sooo much and cannot wait to put her teachings to good use.
From the 12th century farmhouse to the history and knowledge of Tuscan cooking. We made with simple ingredients and the most flavorful Italian food we ever have had. We all had a hands on experience. Definitely one of the best and most memorable days in Tuscany! Thank you again! Hoping our paths will cross again one day!❤️
