Itinerary
Your day will begin with a full briefing form one of our experienced PADI Instructors. We will then prepare your scuba diving equipment and take you to a nearby pool. In the pool we will conduct a series of exercises to build you skills and confidence so that when we go to the ocean you will be ready to make the most of your time exploring the underwater world.
After a short break in which you can grab some lunch from nearby stores we will take you to our dive boat and will complete two dives on two different coral reefs. The dives will have a maximum depth of 12m/40ft and typically last 40-60 minutes depending on levels of skill and comfort.
During the dives you are likely to see a huge range of tropical fish and beautiful corals. We sometimes see impressive moray eels and graceful turtles during the dives too, so that is something extra special to look out for.

We provide all the transportation to/from the Cenotes and our various boats, so you only require transportation to the Dive Center. From our base, we will handle everything for you.

Had an amazing time with Coral as the instructor. She was very informative and a great teacher during the practice dive pool to make us feel confident going into the sea. She put us at ease so we were able to enjoy the sea dives as much a possible. Saw turtles, rays, and loads of fish.

The experience was great from the beginning to the end. It was mine and my wife’s first time diving ever, and I can say that I felt like we were in good hands. The instructors were calm, informative, and didn’t make us feel rushed, or unsafe in any way.
The experience itself was amazing, as you might expect. We were lucky enough to see so many beautiful creatures like parrot fish, manta ray, eels in coves, schools of fish, etc.
Overall an amazing experience and definitely recommend, coming from the perspective of a total beginner.

We were fortunate to see so many different animals! Ariana pointed out a gigantic nurse shark hiding under some rock, there were huge crabs and an eel that didn't seem real. A big ray swam around us two different times, we saw a puffer fish, lobster and the amount of fish we encountered was in the thousands. I would recommend this experience to anyone, it was amazing!

They bring us a Finish instructor for free! Very nice! Reef was nice and we saw lot of sea life. We saw rays, tortoises, moreys and a lot of other creatures and fishes. Ps. There was one barracuda as well. No sharks.

Our instructor Julian was great, he was down to earth and passionate about diving. I haven’t had any scuba experience and this took you step by step to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The instructor is with you the whole step of the way and they have years of experience under their belt. We will be sure to come back to get our official PADI cert and make scuba diving a new hobby!

This one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. Everyone at the dive centre was so friendly and welcoming and made our first ever diving experience fantastic.
We spent the morning with our instructor Ariana in a pool learning the basics. She was so patient with us and made sure we felt comfortable before moving on to the next excercise.
In the afternoon she took us out on two full dives at the reefs just out from Playa del Carmen where she guided us to see all kinds of sea life including puffer fish, eels and crabs. There was also soooo many generic fish flying around us, it was amazing.
The boat we went out on had two other small groups on and there was a really supportive and friendly atmosphere. The was drinking water on the boat and even snacks for between dives.
If we had more time on our trip we would have loved to go back and do a full course, but it's something we're planning to do sometime soon.
Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you!!!

If you are interested in scuba diving at all, definitely try this! I had forgotten to bring some things but the dive center graciously lent me what I needed. I am not a good swimmer and was a complete beginner but my trainer and guide, Corali(?), was so so patient and friendly the whole way. We trained in a pool with the equipment until I felt comfortable, broke for lunch, and then went out into the ocean. There were three other (more experienced) divers and one more guide, but Corali was watching me the whole time and because there was another guide for the other divers I never really felt that I was holding anyone back, which was a relief. We ended up seeing stingrays, an eagle ray, a pufferfish, and so much more. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in diving.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Went on a Discover Scuba Dive with my Son who turned 14. Ariana was an amazing instructor and made him feel extremely comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher and was able to enjoy two great dives and watch my son enjoy his first Dive. The customer service was great and Whatsapp was an easy setup to communicate. Will go back to Tank-Ha Dive Center again when I come back.

5 stars just isn’t enough. The company and its a staff is amazing. The customer service is is excellent. The Instructors are so patient and knowledgeable. The staff is honest, i felt very comfortable with what I learned so much I will be back again.
