I did the option of starting the tour in Uluru and then finished it in Alice Springs for a total of 2 nights out in a swag camping. I really loved my time with lots of hiking, watching the sunset of Uluru, the sunrise walk around the base of Uluru was exceptional. Really enjoyed watching the sunset at the Station the second night too. Betty our guide was excellent - she took her job of telling us more about the Anangu people and culture very seriously and helped us understand the importance of where we were. She also facilitied us all cooking and cleaning together which helped you feel more like a group of friends camping, instead of on a tour. We had a fun time watching the sunset and sitting around the campfire with a couple beers (if you wanted) on the second night. The Canyon Rim walk was also great. Overall highly recommend. If I was to choose again I'd probably choose to do the Uluru pick up and drop off, as it gives you an extra night to do activities and saves you several hours of extra driving!

This was such a special experience in the red centre. Being able to see Uluru, King’s Canyon and Kata Tjuṯa were just spectacular. One of the best parts for us was the sunrise walk around Uluru. We were the only group there and it was so serene and peaceful watching the sun rise on such a magnificent site. Our night at and morning hike at King’s Canyon was also phenomenal. Our guide, Ryan, did a great job taking care of our group and driving us all over the place! We took the tour from Alice Springs and I would highly recommend starting from Yulara - it will cut off a big portion of the drive and you’re driving a lot already on this trip. We opted for tents rather than swags but I don’t think you could go wrong with either. The accommodations were great at both sites. Nice clean toilet and shower facilities and great camping gear. We had a group of 20 which was very nice. Some bus groups had 40 which would have been very overwhelming. Would highly recommend using Adventure Tours for your trip!

Great tour into the heart of Australia. Tye and Betty were awesome guides and kept things moving along really well. Campsites were great, food was awesome-nice to have some basic home cooking after travelling for weeks. Uluru was magical, especially the walk around the base for sunrise. I skipped heart attack hill in kings canyon but the river trail was beautiful. A lot of driving but it seemed to go quickly. Felt safe despite my worries about the creepy crawlers who live on the outback. Highly recommend this tour for people of all activity levels! You do have to beware of Tye’s awful jokes- come with a few of your own to give him a run for his money💕

Had a great time with our tour guides Mishka and Renée. Program and timetable was planned and organized really well, also a little demanding (like getting up really early), but so worth it. We've seen such unique and amazing landscape, always provided with lots of information, great food (even better than I would cook it by myself) and good mood. Despite the rainy weather we had a lovely time with our group. You could expect a real adventure in the nature, camping experience (solid tents with real beds or swags under the stars, outdoor shower, normal toilet, campfire, cooking together) and an unforgetable time.

I had an amazing eperience with all this lovely sunsets, sunrises, the mystical and stunning nature, the nice and lovely people. Our group was a perfect mixture of older and younger people. Mischka was an overall perfect guide and thanks to him all of us had a perfect time - at least I think so, I definitely had.

My wife and I (I’m 71,she 69) did the 3 day Camping Safari Uluru, Kata Tjuṯan and Kings Canyon trip March 9th 2024. Good points Ty the guide, cook, driver, camp attendant etc etc was excellent with what he had to work with. Hikes were marvellous, 10km around Uluru, 10km up the the rim at Kings Canyon, plus hike at Kata Tjuṯa. He knew his stuff. Now not so good, Ty said it would be intense (in tents) . 1st night not bad, tents good had pwr light and fan with steel frames beds, table and some room, 2nd night no very small no fan or pwr outside temp about 36C and on old cots. As for toilets and showers pretty bad, open air with solar lights so lots of flies, beetles, spiders, also old and rough. Camps in rough shape need los of work. Now Ty did his best but a one man show, so we all helped make meals, clean up, and set up tents inside. Up at 5am Ty at 430am start breakfast then drive to sites hike till noon drive more the makes lunch more driving, tour, hike, sunset, drive back sometimes by 8 pm make supper, clean up bed by 1030 or 11pm. Then back up again for 5am. Note Uluru is over 400km from Alice Springs. Surprise the man can say awake driving, it should be a TWO man operation for Many safety reasons. Loved the hikes and Ty was great but not my sleep. As for the Swags no F in way.. . .

We had an amazing experience and enjoyed our 3 days in the outback. Lorrie and Mishka were super cool. Eventhough it was Lorries first trip as the leading guide, she did very well and spotted a lot of wild animals. Everything was well organized and every question got an answer;) And cooking together was so much fun!

The 3-Day-Tour was amazing. We had a really great time on the campsite, in the van and on the hikes. Our tourguides Lorrie & Mishka were competent and very well organized. We liked that Lorrie stopped for animals and/or pictures now and then. What we want to highlight is the great music choice in the morning. Who doesn’t want to wake up to the sound of Hogwarts… 😉
