This was so much fun! You have to be in reasonable shape to do this because the climb, although short, is steep in places and so if you have to have strength and balance to get up. When you arrive you put your belongings into a box that is locked and brought to you at the end of the climb (you don't finish in the same place where you started). My small backpack fit well in the box but if you have lots of bags or a bigger backpack, they will accommodate it. Also, if you are wearing fashionable shoes, they will lend you a pair of hiking boots, so you really can just turn up and they'll kit you out for no additional cost (they also have rain coats because this climb goes rain or shine). You strap on a harness that limits what you can have in your jacket's front pockets because it fits tightly, although they said that if you can fit your camera in a pocket, you can bring it along with your cell phone. The climb is along a bouncy rubber path and there is a railing in the middle to hold onto. It took 15 minutes to climb to the observation deck and you had a nice view of Canary Wharf but no view at all of the city or things like St. Paul's of the Houses of Parliment (check the map to see how far east the O2 actually is ). Still, we had a nice sunset to look at. The descent was as much fun as the ascent. I'd highly recommend this, it was a lot of fun. if you want a great view of the city, try climbing St. Paul's, or the restaurant at the top of the Shard.

My daughter bought me this for my 50th birthday and it was brilliant. We really enjoyed it. Karl (with a K) and Freya were so friendly and informative about what we could see at the top around London. Would definitely recommend.

I was walking into the 02 to do some shopping when I was approached by a young man who asked if I wanted to “climb the 02” with he and his 2 friends. Their “fourth” had dropped out and they wanted to offer the experience to someone. Lucky me! Scarlett was our guide and she did a stellar job! She filled us in on all the appropriate and pertinent safety info with an easygoing yet professional demeanor. Once topside, she provided our group with all kinds of interesting facts and points of interest that we might not have realized otherwise. I would highly recommend this tour! Lots of fun and spectacular views!!!

Was a bit concerned as I am scared of heights but Jonny was great and looked after us all the way. Sunset sky and views were well worth the climb. Great experience.

What a fun experience!!! We were both really excited but also very nervous. Our guide Rebecca was absolutely brilliant!! Such a lovely lady and even humoured us when we called her teacher!! Haha. For us she made the experience, we chatted and joked all throughout the climb. Would definitely recommend this experience and I look forward to coming back with my children.

Excellent visit. Friendly and fun staff. Karl (with a K) was brilliant, knowledgeable and patient making the experience a really good one. It doesn’t feel high as you have the dome underneath you (if that makes sense). Please reduce the cost of one of your photos if you can!

Amazing Experience! Johnny was a great Tour guide, im scared of heights and have physical disabilities, Johnny was extremely patient and made the whole experience a relaxed , safe , enjoyable time, even though it was raining and cold!
