I had a great time with Andes Salt Expedition, our guide Juan and driver Angel. The trip exceeded my expectations which were already set very high. I liked the fact that the trip was so diverse, experiencing the salt flat, taking photos with the mirror effect (which I thought was not possible as I read online the mirror effect is only available certain months, but as explained by Juan, there are certain pools available all year around) and the perspective photos which was great fun, to the hike we did at Tunupa volcano and visiting the devil’s cave and isla incahuasi. It was great fun, and I ended up in a great group. It was a trip I will always remember.

Probably the greatest tour I ever took. The two days are packed with highlights, the timing is adjusted to the travelers, always enough time to enjoy the beauty of this incredible place. Nice overnight stay, good food and surprising snacks. Big shout out to guide Edvin and driver Blas. Those two guys made it an unforgettable experience. Muchas gracias! Saludos de Austria!

My wife and I did the 2 day / 1 night medium tour and it was absolutely fantastic. The landscape is breathtaking and the tour was very professionally organised from start to finish. Our guide Juan and driver Angel were brilliant! They were informative, kind and extremely helpful. We wouldn't have been able to take the photos and videos we did without them. If you have the opportunity, take this trip - you won't regret it.

We had the tour of two Days and 1 night. I really suggest it especially if you have the chance to sleep in one of the Salt Hostal at the edges of the desert. Our guide Angel was nice and gave us many interesting insigths.. He is a great photographer as well! :)

I didn't try all the different tours that are in Uyuni but I didn't have t do so, to realise that Andes tours are the greatest company doing these tours. Carlos became my best buddy and let me sit shotgun for both days of the tour and entertained the whole group with his great music choices. Axel was also great explaining us about the history of this glorious place called Uyuni.

At first it started out a little slow.. the train cemetery and first stops felt way too touristy with everyone trying to have us buy things. The trip only went uphill from here. The salt flats were incredible. Lunch was tasty. The sunset was absolutely stunning. The next morning I opted for the sunrise tour. We got to go star gazing and jt was the most magical thing I’ve ever seen. Later that day we went to the volcano but since I had a bad knee the driver drove us up most of the way up a road he’d never driven before and clearly other people hadn’t in a while. He was very accommodating and willing to help me out. They put my friend and I up in a gorgeous hotel that had a fantastic dinner and breakfast.

We really enjoyed this 2 day, 1 night tour. We did the standard range tour. We had lot of fun with our amazing guide Oscar. He was so knowledgeable and really did everything for us including setting up many nice meals and taking great photos! We stayed overnight in the Salt Hostal (a little different from some of the pictures on here) but it was still nice and clean with great staff. Hiked the volcano which was so pretty! Make sure to have plenty of cash, in Bolivianos (small bills are best), with you to pay for entry and bathrooms at some of the stops (Isla Incahuasi, Galaxy Caves and the volcano- 30BOB each.

It was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been on earth. RAQUEL AND CARLOS were excellent guides. Raquel was a wealth of knowledge and had amazing ideas for pictures and videos for us. Could not have asked for a better guide! They had a thought out itinerary but was flexible with it!

The whole tour was great, we where picked up from the airport, and straight to the tour office which gives us the briefing plus time to get ready to start the D1 tour. Everyone at Andes Salt Expeditions was helpful, then off to our D1. Everything was amazing and the highlight was the Salar de Uyuni, our guide was amazing in explaining everything. It was such an experience. After the sunset we where taken to our hotel, which I actually lowered my expectations but it was amazing Hotel Kachi de Uyuni. Then we had a bonus of stargazing & sunrise, whis was awesome, we got lots of great pics and just watching the skies full of stars and the sunrise. Kudos to our guides/photographer. Then off to our second day which was great as the first Bolivia is amazing, we enjoyed it. We had a little flat tire accident in the middle of going back, but our guide is great and know exactly what to do. All in all I reccomend this tour 100%. If ever you are in Bolivia check out Andes Salt Expeditions.
