We will meet at the door of San Valero Parish. We will go to the Ruzafa market together and we will make the purchase of the fresh products necessary to cook a good paella. While we are making the purchase we will tell you the origin of the paella and customs and culture of the Valencian people.
Later we will walk for 8 minutes to reach the kitchen where we will hold a sangria workshop.The chef will be waiting us with some delicious tapas accompanied by sangria, beer, water ... Then our chef will explain step by step the preparation of the authentic valencian paella (chicken and rabbit) and once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

We had a blast making the paella! 4 of us were to attend the 5pm evening class, however we were contacted weeks ahead of time by Jose, the owner via What's App.
He expressed his regret that the 5pm class wasn't available on the day we chose and offered the 11am class instead. The switch worked with our schedule and was not a problem. Our market visit,paella making, tapas and sangria were lovely, and I now find my self craving the recipes. Lucky for My First Paella has the recipes on their website. The 3 people instructing us were energenic, upbeat and fun! We highly recommend!

What a great experience! Our chefs/guides were fun, energetic, and knowledgeable, and we learned so much about making paella. Even better, we got to eat tapas, drink sangria, and enjoy the paella we made. Definitely a must in Valencia!

Hands down one of my favorite things i’ve done in Spain! I had so much fun walking through the market and learning about authentic Valencian Paella. We were kindly served tapas and sangria before we started cooking. Our hosts were accommodating and knowledgeable (and FUN)! Everyone had a chance to help cook. Plus the food was DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend!

Christina, Juan, and Anna were wonderful. We had so much fun at the market and the cooking facility. They were very concerned about making the paella according to tradition and guided everyone through the experience. Everyone participated and we made friends. Sangria and tapas were a nice addition.

I had a fantastic time. I was a solo traveller on this experience. The guides were super friendly and the other people on the trip were super friendly. A real taste of Spain and I would highly recommend it. Not to be missed

This was a fantastic tour - lots of fun, great food and alcohol. The team worked hard and did a great job making each member of the group feel comfortable, useful and important. They were really professional and committed. We would highly recommend this tour. It is one of the best ones we have experienced.

What an amazing experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly talented, attentive and hilarious! The itinerary, facility, sangria, wine, tapas, paella ingredients and finished product were all fantastic!! I would HIGHLY recommend doing this with friends. In our 3 weeks in Spain it was our #1 memory!
