Do you want to discover the most traditional recipes of Spanish and Valencian cuisine? If the answer is yes, come enjoy this experience.
The day does not begin in the kitchen.... but rather visiting the neighborhood market, Mercado Algirós, where we acquire the best and freshest Mediterranean ingredients that are part of our culinary culture. (The visit to the market will only be for morning groups)
Once you have touched the base of Valencian gastronomic culture with the essence of the neighbor, it is time to continue with our Paella workshop.
You will make a traditional menu with Valencian paella as the main dish, potato omelette and coca en llanda with merengada milk ice cream, a typical Valencian dessert. Meanwhile, you enjoy local wines from one of the best-known wineries in the area.
Lastly, and most importantly, now it's time to eat! Enjoy the food and share your experience with the chef, toasting with wine and sangria!
When finished, the chefs will give you a personalized and newly printed diploma with your group photo along with the recipe for Valencian paella to cook at home.
The workshop will be held in English.
Sample Menu
• Bleeding
• Ham tables with bread spikes and potato chips
• Omelette
• Valencian Paella with chicken and vegetables or vegetarian Paella - If you want vegetarian paella, please send us a message :)

It was so much fun to learn how to make this amazing food. All of the guests were encouraged to participate. The paella and tortilla were so easy and fun to participate. I can’t wait to do this at home!

Absolutely a must do. We enjoyed it all. And the food was plentiful.
Not just paella but we made additional dishes. So don’t eat before you go. And drinks too. The staff was attentive and our chef was a joy.

Valencia Paella Cooking class is a must-do before you leave Valencia! Chef Zaher & Chef Nataliya were exceptional teachers that made this a wonderful experience. Starting with a quick tour of the local market, we then headed to the kitchen to create Valencia Paella, Spanish Tortilla, and the coca de llanda cake. See pictures for the results-DELICIOUS! Best paella we have tasted! Very interesting and delicious cake that we will surely also make ourselves again in future.

We had a small, but diverse group of 13 people from 6+ countries. While I didn’t have the vegetarian paella, those who did seemed to enjoy it. The chicken paella was great. Bill was a great teacher and had us participating in the preparation.

Very friendly and funny chef. We started with some appetisers and unlimited sangria and water. Extended explanation about the cooking. We had to share responsibilities and the chef kept a close eye. Very easy, not sure if i could do it myself now ;)

We had a great time in the class learning how to make paella along a couple of other typical Valencian foods. All the food was delicious. The instructors were fun and knowledgeable. We had great laughs with them as well as with the class as a whole.

Amazing experience to finish our 4-day trip to Valencia. The chef Luis was very interactive, funny and careful. He made sure that the whole group is involved in the cooking process. The paella that we cooked during the class was miles ahead of what we have been served in other local restaurants. Highly recommend!

Making pie was fun and interesting. Our guide had limited English so a bit difficult to understand him, but he had a great sense of humor and obviously loved what he was doing. The food was delicious!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this class. We enjoyed the tour of the market, the snacks and drinks they made available, and the way the instructor made us all feel so comfortable. We met some very nice people from all over the world, and that enhanced the experience as well. Most of all, teaching us how to make Paella the right way was fantastic. We cannot wait to get home from vacation and try out our new skills.
