Finish your tour at the Basilica of St. Peter, the world's most impressive work of Renaissance architecture and the largest cathedral in the world. Admire the famous Pietà by Michelangelo and the elaborate St. Peter's Baldachin by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

The Basilica and/or sistine Chapel may be subject to last-minute closures. In the event that it is closed, the tour will be extended inside the museums(the activity is not partially refunded in this case).
Mandatory Dress Code: knees and shoulder must be covered to get inside Vatican Museum and Sistine. You might be refused at the entrance unfulfilling the dress code
ID may be required for entrance (especially for guests under the age of 18). Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance.
Comfortable shoes are recommended

What a wonderful day - our guide had a wealth of knowledge and enjoyed sharing it with us. We were a group of 20, pleased it wasn't more.
Definitely worth booking - cut wait times down tremendously! Would do it again!

Our tour guide was Meitei, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Vatican’s history. If you’re considering going to the Vatican you need to book a guided tour, our guide was invaluable to the experience, without one you would miss out a lot of the history of the rooms of the museum and you get to take shortcuts between the museum, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s Basilica missing the long queues.

The history lesson provided by our tour guide was detailed and informative. She was an archaeologist so she gave detailed information. I was surprised at the immense size of the church museums St. Peter’s square.

Our tour was outstanding. The guide was Marta and she was totally amazing. Her knowledge was exceptional and detailed and how she remembers so much is beyond me. She clearly enjoys this position and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Our tour guide did not show up for work and instead of putting us with another group they just bought us the self guide audio guides. We did not get to go into St. Peter’s Basillica since we did not have a guide. Total disappointment and a partial refund was all that was offered.
