Our guide Francesco was so energetic and knowledgeable! He knew what he was doing! There is so much to see and so much history with the Vatican so we would’ve been lost without him.

The tour was fantastic but would love if our guide engaged with the group a little more instead of just giving a very knowledgeable but non stop barrage of information which most people found a bit too intense and hard to absorb.

First of all, the staff where very unfriendly. Second the tour was 11am -2:00pm. They were 30 minutes late, we almost lost our entry time into the Vatican. Once inside we were told the guide was running late. We would would have to wait until he arrived inside. We were on a cruise and our time was limited. Yes it was crowded but not as crowded as they made it seem. We were here last year and the crowd seemed about the same and we had an excellent guide in 2023. What a disappointment. Money wasted, over 500.00 and we had to basically go on our own due to the time restraints. Viator thanks for nothing. Next time I’ll use another website which we plan on next year.

What a great time! We barely got there on time but made it! The group was a good size and we really enjoyed our guide! She was really cute and had a lot of good info to share and show! I wish we had more time to look through the vast collection that the Vatican has but we saw the main points and it was still amazing! Highly recommend this tour, just the skip the line was worth everything! The early morning tour was probably the best time to go but give yourself A LOT of time to get there if you take a taxi!

I will start with the positive: the place of reunion was easy to find, instructions were clear and close to the entrance of the Vatican. We did not have to wait that long to get inside which makes it worth it because you don’t lose time. The cost was elevated but until this point for me was worth it, now, what took away from our experience was the tour guide, I was traveling with my aunt who only spoke Spanish so we choose the tour with a Spanish speaking guide, our guide, although he was very knowledgeable, his tasteless jokes made the tour hard to endure, he made rude comments to other members of our group, he got out of topic most of the time to make sarcastic comments that did not add to the context of the tour, and it took away from our experience, we were not the only ones who felt like this, there were at least 6 more people on the group that were bothered by his comments, sarcasm an lack of consideration, we could not wait to finish the tour to enjoy the rest of the day inside the museum and sixtine chapel on our own. Probably our experience could have been better with a different guide, so our advise to the company is either do not use that guy, ( forgot his name but I remember he mentioned he is Cuban) or to have a serious conversation with him so he can limit his jokes and sarcastic comments.
