The tour was great. The guide was very knowledgeable. Some, very interesting facts. We went to corners of Verona I had already visited while wondering around and he provided context and history. Food was also great and the restaurant was in a great spot.

Our guide Francesa was so engaging and informative. Lots of little titbits of information along the way. So much so that when we were 2 hours into the walking tour, we thought we had only covered around half an hour of our experience.
At the end of the journey we had the chance to sample some great wine and food. Well worth the booking!

Our guide Mauro was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and he took us to places that steered clear of most of the larger tour groups.

Mauro the guide was such a nice person, informative without going overboard and fun with the facts. When it came to the food and wine, he had good suggestions and was a pleasure to have with us.

The walking along the quiet streets of Verona, away from the crowds. We misunderstood the description and thought this was a restaurant to restaurant walking tour. It’s a city tour with food at the end. Madeleine is a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable. We didn’t like the crowds at the funicular or Juliet’s house, but the views at the top of funicular were fantastic.

The guide was very kind and knowledgeable about Verona - I would recommend her as a guide. However how this tour is billed is misleading - it is billed as a "food tasting and walking tour" - it is in fact a walking tour with a plate of salumi at the end as an after thought - we all expected to stop and taste things along the way (like the special torta of the area we saw at the bakery), but we did not taste anything for 3 hours and were given a plate of salumi at the end that the tour guide did not stay to share with us. You either need to add more tastings or change the tour name. I have done many "tasting" tours and this was not one.

We we under the impression (based on tour description) that it would be a food tour with different stops along the way to try local cuisine. Needless to say we arrived hungry and were told the tour was not a food tour but rather a walking tour with a local meats/cheeses platter at a restaurant in the square at the end of the tour. Also worth noting the tour does not include entrance into the colosseum. Our guide was great and she was super informative about Verona, we learned a lot and enjoyed it but was marketed very differently than what we experienced.

We ended up having a private tour since we were the only ones who signed up. It was perfect saw a lot more than I expected our tour guide, Mauro, I believe was extremely knowledgeable. Out of all the tour I took on the trip this one was the one where we learned the most. We got to see the touristy areas and the local back roads as well. A lot of fun facts with good laughs and a delicious meal at the end. We left the food tasting so full we didn’t even have dinner that night. I highly recommend if you’re into history and a big beautiful charcuterie board.

Loved getting to roam the streets of verona and learn all about its history! Best part was the view from the top of the cable car ride. I would call out though this tour is a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes
