We had a really good time riding the Vespa around Florence. However, the explanation of how far the Vespa will go before needing a charge is a little deceiving. Also, they make you think it’s easy to charge them. Our hotel wouldn’t even allow us to charge ours, let alone a random restaurant, etc. We had to take the scooter back to the rental shop and it took over three hours for the bike to get from 30-70%. They wouldn’t give us another bike to take without us paying more. I recommend these for cruising around the city, but not for longer rides through the countryside like we tried to do. They also go very slow uphill.
