My group of four adults had a terrific Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel tour operated by Maya Tours and led by the dazzling, spirited, hugely informed and delightfully well-spoken Christina. We saw all the expected things, but we learned soooo much more than we expected. Christina was funny as hell, and supremely knowledgeable after her years of advanced studies in art, history, archaeology, fashion, and probably rocket science. Christina had us skirting crowds and finding the oh-so-rare areas of space in the packed-to-the-gills museum galleries. She described in detail — amazing personal detail — about the Vatican, the art, and the artists. Christina really made the day for us. Five stars (ten!) all the way!

Tour guide was amazing, she made sure other visitors weren’t in our way of seeing everything. She was very knowledgeable. Even though this was a VIP tour with a smaller group you are still in there with a lot of other visitors/tours. Completely worth going early and skipping the line.

St. Peter’s Basilica. It’s a wonder how the artisans at the time of the building were able to accomplish the magnificent beauty of the Basilica. Our tour guide was AMAZING. Her name was Debbie.

Ticketing online easy. Meeting place & time clear. Check-in person's attitude indifferent. Excellent tour guide as she spoke good English without the heavy Italian accent. Due to headphones provided, hearing the tour guide is not a big issue so don't know if paying extra for a small size group is a big advantage as trying to take photos in the massive crowds and listen to the guide is nearly impossible anyway. Join this small group tour and pay the extra price if you hang with the guide closely but nevertheless, pay for a skip-the-line tour and avoid the ridiculously long lines to save time...
