Had a great day trip with the very happy Salah! He walked us through the market of Sefrou while telling us about the local communities and history. We stocked up on fruit for the hike ahead. The waterfall was a little underwhelming for us as it was end of March and not flowing as full as it usually would be, but the hike higher up for the panoramic views was the highlight for sure. Beautiful views of Sefrou and the caves. We then headed onto to Bhalil to meet with some locals who opened up their cave home to share some mint tea. All in all it was a fab day spent with Salah, meeting lots of locals and seeing lots of great sights. I highly recommend if you want to get out and about away from the Medina for a day. Thank you Salah!

Really enjoyed our adventures and the snacks with our guide Salah. Honestly this was our best experience ever traveling, and the most authentic and enjoyable experience in Morocco overall! 10/10 would go again.

The hiking tour with Salah was, undoubtedly, the highlight of our trip. First of all, Salah is a great guide, very knowledgeable and excited to show us around. He’s also a lovely person to be around, and we had a great time talking with him. We left feeling like we made a new friend. The tour starts in Sefrou, this small town half Jewish half Muslim, then we go to the waterfall and start the actual hike. At times, it can be a bit of a challenging hike, but nothing to be scared of, honestly. The hike has incredible views. After that we go to the next town to have dinner with a family who lives in one of the cave houses. The food was amazing, and the family was extremely welcoming. It really felt like an authentic experience. Highly recommend it!!

Ahmed is a super friendly guy and this with him too as one of the high lights of my holiday in Morocco. He’s very knowledgeable about Moroccan culture, nature and plants. It felt very genuine. In the end it felt more like a day out with a good friend, than an organized trip. I almost forgot, but visiting the Berber family that lives in the caves of Bahlil was amazing. True hospitality and a really authentic experience

Ahmed is a vivid storyteller, athletic hiker, and nature lover who has historical knowledge of special, off-the-beaten-path type places. He seems friendly and generous with the local vendors in both the Muslim and Jewish neighborhoods and has built up sufficient trust amongst local Berbers to be able to curate a uniquely authentic experience for his clients. Your body will thank you after enjoying the power hike, fresh seasonal fruits, and simple homecooked meal in a Berber home!

This is an 'off the beaten track' experience, which takes you to Sefrou, about half an hour from Fes by taxi. We explored the local market, tasted a variety of street food, visited a local mill, a community oven and a honey maker and wondered around the old Jewish quarter. We then walked out of the town, stopping at a local swimming/picnic spot and up into the hills where we shared the fruit we had bought in the market and picked wild herbs. Later we visited a berber village and had a meal in one of the homes built into a cave. Ahmed was an enthusiastic and friendly young guide who was keen to share his local knowledge. Lots of walking. This tour provided an interesting contrast to our day looking around Fes and a day visiting Volubilis. We really enjoyed it.

My son (18) and I (50) went on a trip with Ahmed (and Zakaria) who was the best guide we have ever had in Marocco. Open and honest and full of interesting stories about the history of the city plus wide knowledge off all the plants and herbs we encountered. We had a wonderful time, nice views but most of all met nice people! Highly recommended, all the trips with Ahmed!

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Fes and wanted to experience more that just the city. My wife found this AirBNB experience with Ahmed and we couldn't have been more pleased. We went to open air markets for fresh produce, clime mountains, ate fresh bread, hung out underneath a waterfall, shared tea with a Berber family, and wend on a "motorcycle" ride down the mountain. It was truly the highlight of our trip! Not only did we learn a great deal but we felt like we found a new friend in Ahmed. We highly recommend this adventure for anyone who wants to experience all of Morocco.
