This tour lived up to its billing. The small group size made it feel like we were on an adventure as we drove through the countryside spotting kangaroos and wombats. Dave is so friendly and accommodating and made this tour so memorable. The best tour ever!

It was a perfect day. Dave is a great guy, and he gave us a unique insight in the Australian wonders, lookouts, waterfalls, nature, and first of all we saw Lyrebirds, Echidnas, and lots of Kangarues and Wombats. You get the Australian East Coast packed into one day!

Fabulous tour with Dave. Very informative and knowledgeable. Great cook too. It was amazing to see the kangaroo and wombats in the wild. Lost count of the number of kangaroos out for their evening feed. Wombats along side and crossing the road. Dave knew where to find them all in spite of some areas being closed by the fires. Made a wonderful dinner of burgers with all the fixings and kangaroo meat to taste. Won't ever miss this tour.

This was truly the highlight of our trip to Sydney, it was great going in a small group and getting to go to places that were off the beaten path to see the animals in their environment.

My family and I enjoyed this tour. The sights included are really beautiful. In addition, the BBQ dinner was highly satisfying! Dave is also very nice and professional. Thank you for making sure that we saw kangaroos!

It was a great day. We started with some views. I really liked lunch, we had amazing pie. The beach was also beautiful. The highlight was of course the end, we saw so many wombats in their natural habitat. This was very memorable. Then we had burgers while the sun went down.
Can really recommend the tour. You will feel the love with which Dave is organizing every detail . 😊

This day tour was an awesome experience and definitely worth the cost. Despite the freezing cold windy weather, Dave made it fun and showed us so many cool places. The waterfalls were beautiful. The highlight of the trip was definitely Kangaroo Valley with the wombats and kangaroos and dinner though. Unforgettable day, highly recommend!!

The operator doesn't pick up in the morning even though only a maximum of 9 people go on the tour. I had a choice of two meeting locations to get to at my expense and trouble. We rode for a long time and went to a public beach access to see a blow hole. Then we went to a nearby beach to use the public restrooms and then to a restaurant for lunch. We were given a bottle of water from the cooler in the back of the van and told we could order a meat pie or a sandwich. That's it. The pie is good but is so small lunch is more of a snack than a meal. Were were given a banana and snack bar later and a bottle of water. We went to a few waterfalls and spent a short time at each. Some of them were the same waterfall just further down the road to get a different view. We went for a walk in a park and saw some lyre birds. I asked if there were other wildlife and was told there were water dragons when it was warm. It was cold. We walked by a stream where there was a platypus sign and when I asked if we could see one was told they only come out before dark and it wasn't dark enough yet. We went to kangaroo valley to see the kangaroos and wombats roam wild. I saw more wombats on the side of the road dead than at the park. There were only 3 there. The kangaroos were on the other side of the fence in the brown brush. They are brown so the pictures weren't that good. They did go through the park later briefly. The whole area smelled like poop. It was cold and windy the whole day and by the time we got to the park the wind was so bad it was hard to hold the camera steady. It rained and since there wasn't a canopy we ate our burger inside the van. The operator did drop us off at our hotels. This tour should not be operated this time of year because it is too cold to enjoy the area, see flowering plants, and wildlife. If I had known the what the weather is like this time of year in that area I would not have gone. More time was spent riding than anything else. If you have mobility issues do not go because of the steep walks and rocks. It was a huge disappointment and waste of time and money. I regret going. I only had 2 days to spend in the area and I wasted 1 on this tour. If you want to see kangaroos and wallabies up close go to Featherdale. They will eat out of your hands there.
