This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. In case of rain we strongly recommend wearing rain gear, ponchos and having an umbrella with you. The final decision on cancelling a tour will occur at least 1 hour prior to departure and all possible guests will be contacted.
Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
Wheelchairs can be accommodated, but not provided. We must be advised at time of booking if bringing your own wheelchair to ensure we can accommodate your request on your chosen date and departure time. All request are subject to availability.
The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate

A lot would depend on driver/guide. Ours meant well and tried, but…
Leg room is inadequate.
Would have preferred driver/guide to stop talking and focus on driving when we were in busy thoroughfares. Really exposed in golf with real vehicles all around. DC traffic is aggressive.

This trip was everything promised. Our guide, Freddie was well informed, extremely personable, and articulate. We were able to see all the major architecture and make several stops within the city- including a comfort stop. This tour also returns you to your trip origin- so no drop offs in unfamiliar places. Thank you for a perfect experience!

Our guide was very knowledgeable about Washington as a whole - the weather was perfect and the sights inspiring. A great way to see the key locations and get your bearings before walking about & spending more concentrated time on the favorites.

Had multiple visitors the same month and chose this tour for the more personalized experience of a smaller group tour. The open air carts generally make getting on/off easy and allow for more time actually experiencing the sites. Had a good experience with a friend the first time at the end of March. Weather was chilly, but we dressed warm and had a pleasant evening. Based on that, I decided to book again when mom and aunt (both in their 70s but very mobile/active) came to visit last weekend. This ended up being a total disaster. The carts technically fit 7 people (plus the driver). However, the two last seats face backwards and are substantially less comfortable/safe, especially once it gets dark. When we arrived to check in, two other couples had already taken the 4 seats in the main part of the cart (despite recommendations from the driver that they move to allow my group of 3 to sit together). That left me sitting next to the driver up front, while my mom and aunt were forced to sit in very back row--facing backwards the entire way! It was a horrible experience for them. The carts go no more than 25 MPH (which makes sense), but there are constantly cars buzzing past at high speeds and shining their bright headlights directly into the faces of those forced to sit backwards. There were times when other cars came within mere feet of hitting my family. It was incredibly unsafe, and other drivers on the road actually stopped to make comments as such. Not to mention, my mom and aunt were not able to experience the same tour as everyone else because they could not see what the rest of us did. I do not blame the guide for this--he mentioned several times that he thought it was unsafe for people to be sitting in the back and that the guides often deal with similar complaints. This feedback is shared with management, only to be ignored. I suspect that they continue to use those unsafe back seats because they don't want to incur the cost of sending another cart out and having to pay an additional guide. As a tour guide myself, I am always told to prioritize guest safety first. It is clear this company does not do that, and yet still charges the same $80+ price tag for everyone regardless of seating position. I could see where the back seats may be fun for teenagers or younger people, but it is simply not suitable for full grown adults on a 2-hour two. If you can ensure you get a normal forward-facing seat, the tour is decent. But buyer beware that you might be seriously disappointed!

Our tour guide Joel was AMAZING! He was full of good historical and local facts, with the perfect amount of humor and positivity mixed in. Taking the tour via an electric cart seemed comparatively to be a much better experience than a bus/van tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting DC! Thanks for a great experience!

Paul was an amazing tour guide taking us to the monuments at night and giving us time to walk around. The sites at night take on a majestic view and are breathtaking. Especially the MLK monument!
