Explore Chiang Mai and know a little more about Thailand’s culture when you join this half-day tour of Doi Suthep and Hmong Village. Your day will start with a quick hike at Doi Suthep, home of the sacred Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (Doi Suthep temple). Here you can explore and admire the many shrines, chedis, and temples that show the influence of Buddhism in Thailand. This tour also includes a visit to the tribal people of Hmong Village, which is also known for its colorful and intricate garments. Get a chance to interact with the tribespeople and learn their culture as well as their way of life! To make your trip better, an English-speaking tour guide and comfortable transportation are also included in this tour.

They informed the evening before that a tour as booked in the afternoon had to be cancelled and offered us to meet the morning tour. We could not. We were very disappointed.

This tour was fantastic. Our guide and driver were very kind and well-organized with transportation and scheduling. Each stop had a great amount of opportunity to learn about history from our knowledgable guide, and to admire/photograph the scenery.

My family and I would have preferred to spend more time at the Hmong Village (we only had 30 minutes). Doi Suthep was beautiful. There was another temple/place that we visited first before going to the Hmong Village then Doi Suthep; and in my opinion was not a necessary stop as I felt it took away much preferred time from the Hmong Village that has more to offer.
