This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Kihei, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii
As a participant in this water bike tour, we will leave from Makena Bay and travel south along the shoreline to see some of the reef, fish and any marine life that shows up for the day. We may spend approximately 10 minutes per stop allowing everyone a chance to relax and capture photographs. Tour guides teach guests Hawaiian names and words of the area making this water bike adventure an opportunity to learn Hawaiian history.
The next stop will be just off the shore of one of the only black sand beaches along the south shore. The beach will be clearly visible from our water bikes. Though we do not dock on the beach, it is a great beach to see especially when this beach is not visible from the roadway making it a more secretly kept beach in the area.
On this water bike tour, you can push yourself a little more to get some exercise or you can just cruise along. Our tour guides will be there to provide instruction and help make this experience one to keep in your heart forever.

Being in n the beautiful clear water and able to enjoy the morning beauty from your own water bike was both relaxing and fun. The guides and helpers had AMAZING, helpful attitudes and were the best. Everything was taken care of and they provided some interesting history of the islands, wildlife, and general facts of the area.

My husband and 8-year-old son and I had a fabulous time on this tour. The water bikes were extremely stable and intuitive, and offered a unique way to see the South Maui coast. We could all pedal as slowly or as quickly as we wished, and my son had fun “sprinting ahead” and then drifting around for a rest. Even when small waves hit, the bikes remain perfectly stable and comfortable - I was surprised at how easy and fun they were to ride. As most of the other reviews mention, the real highlight was the crew and guide. They were all very helpful and enthusiastic, plus knowledgeable about the island and its history and culture. It is a fabulous family run business clearly dedicated to passing on a love and deep respect for the island and its people. We would definitely do this activity again, and it was one of the best aspects of a great trip!

Truly enjoyable! Fun ,our Hosts were terrific ! If anyone is even remotely concerned about stability on Water Bikes… don’t be ad they’re “rock solid”. Ease in operating & maneuvering… can’t go wrong! Give it a Shot!

My husband and I had a really great time on the Water Bike Tour! We had our guide, Aukai, to ourselves and as we pedaled away from the shore, he located a couple of manta rays and made sure we had a good look at them. He then took us out to get a close look at a humpback whale momma and her calf. It was amazing to watch these splendid animals surface and breach! The water bike is really easy to operate and we both felt completely safe and comfortable on the water. Aukai was really friendly and engaging. We would both do this tour again!

We were unable to do this excursion due to technical difficulties however the staff was understanding and accommodating. Very professional!

This was a really fun adventure. I found it to be relaxing and peaceful at times. The bike was easy to maneuver. The guys who helped us get into the water and one of them was our guide were great. I’d definitely do this again.

Awesome company. All the guides from checking in to checking out were kind, attentive, and joked around with the kids helping them feel comfortable and have a fun time. They worked together well and gave us more ideas on what to do around the island with the kids. Everybody had fun and loved peddaling the bikes across the water, racing, and spinning eachother around. We could see some sting rays in the water and some whales out in the distance. We would definitely go again and recommend this company.

Surf cycling surprisingly ended up being our favorite tour on Maui! My husband was nervous to snorkel so I booked this on 2/26 thinking it would be a good alternative. We loved it! Our guide was a young man that was incredibly knowledgeable of the land, ocean life, and Hawaiian history. Being out on the crystal clear blue water was great, but having a guide that was just as excited as us and eager to teach was what made this tour perfect! We saw colorful fish in the coral, a whale breach in the distance, and our guide dove in a few times to get a sea star and urchin from the bottom for us to hold. Another guide stayed back at the beach safeguarding our keys/wallets and helped us get back safely on shore when done. The cycles are easy to maneuver and great for all ages and fitness levels. This is a very friendly and professional local business. Highly recommend!

What an awesome way to get out on the water and see the ocean in the reefs. The guides were knowledgeable with lots of information about the island of Maui. It was fun to be out and cycling on the water.
