The crew did an excellent job taking care of and educating us! It was toward the end of the season and we weren't expecting to see any whales and were blessed with multiple sightings!

We were more towards the end of the season, but we still got to see many whales! We saw their backs, tales, fin 'wave' and even saw a breach!! Listening to their unwater singing was special too. The guide (forgot her name!) was super informative, clearly passionate about whales (she was as excited as we were ! :D) - we were on the smaller excursion (I think we were 24 people) and were happy with our choice. Would recommend!

We had an amazing time on our whale watching tour. The weather was beautiful. We saw 2 humpback whales, a mom and baby. The mother breached a couple of times and the baby kept slapping its tail on the surface of the water. The staff was nice & knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour, I’ve gone on whale watching tours 3 times prior to this, but this was by far the best one. We would absolutely go again.

We're so glad we chose Pacific Whale Foundation for our whale watching experience. They were knowledgeable and kept us hydrated during the tour. Best of all, we bit only saw whale, but got to witness a "competition".

Great trip and educational. Great viewings of mom whales and babies swimming together. Don’t expect to get too close, however. It is against the law.

The whale watch itself was fine. Lots of whales. But very Disappointed in service. it was early morning cruise. Not sure if due to economy, but We were greeted with small glasses of water and food that was small Costco bags of chips and candy bars for $2 and Coffee for $2. I assume drinks as well. But i am not drinker so don't know. But i have been on many a whale watches and part of the trip is the food. Not sure if was my fault for booking this one. But have been on this exact boat in the past that fts 140 passengers and was less that half filled. So, the food for purchases was junk. So if only going to serve that, it should at least be free. Will not be doing this one again unless i clarify in advance food provided. Insult to injury, the boat in front of us was preparing a feast for their passengers (before leaving the harbor). Just found myself apologizing to my wife and kids as we were all expecting good food/drinks (for my wife). And as all boats do, they asked for tips for services. But as stated, other than water being given walking on, there was nothing to tip. And i am a good tipper and have enjoyed supporting PWF for years as a Maui Resident but this just disappointed. It was 2 hour trip, so wasn't necessarily expecting feast, but better than this. Continental breakfast etc. If this is standard for the 2 hour tour, my fault i guess. Maybe i have just always booked 3 hour. But have just never had to pay for weak snacks.

When your experienced guide (Michaela) tells you this tour was "epic" you know you saw something special.
Multiple breaches from female whales and their calf.
A large shark tracking our whales.
Captain Joe saving the day by getting a little blushish with the shark made such for a great adventure!
Thank you to PacWhale Tours!

We were fortunate that a Momma Whale and baby put on quite a show for us for several minutes. The boat was not crowded where you couldn’t see what was happening in the water. We saw other whales as well. Fun for all of us!

This was a fantastic whale watching adventure. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly and we saw a large number of whales. I would highly recommend this company. Plus, it is a non-profit.
