Enjoy a day of cod fishing or we can try to photograph some humpback whales and with any luck we may even find some million-year-old icebergs floating by.
You may wish to just relax on deck and enjoy an ice cold beer while the puffins swim along the ocean surface.
It's time to relax and enjoy the beautiful North Atlantic Ocean while floating past the most easterly point in North America, Beautiful Cape Spear.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ANYONE WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COD FISHERY
The cod fishery is only open Saturday- Monday of every week.
Please verify your tour dates coincide with the cod fishery if wishing to go cod fishing.

The caves wine tour was very interesting. They also took us on a tour of the surrounding vineyards as well as the town. The sparkling wine at the end of the tour was also worthwhile.
The little stand inside the winery had great foods for a picnic and the whole place was set up outside for just that purpose.
Some of the best hospitality ever in France.

Even though it was gray and windy and wavey, Mike was happy to share his knowledge on all kinds of topics. He kept us safe and entertained in pretty stupid weather. And we caught a few cod.

Had a great day on the water with Captain Jeff and his wife Annette. Took us cod fishing not far from the harbour and we caught 12 fish in about 30 minutes! We came during the 2 week window where you have to release them but they were all the perfect size to keep. We then went to Quidi Vidi Village where we all shared beers and laughs at the brewery. Great views and live music. On the way home Captain Jeff screeched us in right on the boat! They are such a lovely couple and we really enjoyed our afternoon adventures with them!

Captain Mike was fantastic! He brought a lot of energy and humour to our group and made it an incredible day on the water for us. We caught quite a few really nice cod while enjoying the views of the beautiful coastline. We even got to see a shark swimming quite close to the boat while we were fishing. I would highly recommend working with Captain Mike and I would definitely sign back up with him on any return trip.

Our family of six (us, two grandparents and two grandkids (three generations altogether) had an absolutely unforgettable experience today on the high seas with Mike. Captain Mike is warm, fun, a true pleasure to spend time with — great stories and great laughs! We sailed out in the middle of some amazing fog, and caught some gigantic cod on our trip. Honestly, Captain Mike knows where to find them! Cod after cod after cod came out — he screeched us all in and made us really feel welcome in his beautiful province. We could have stayed out all day with him, we were all enjoying ourselves so much. Captain Mike was fabulous with our kids (12 and 10). Our kids want to return to NFLD specifically to sail with Captain Mike again! You’ve got to do this! You won’t regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing trip guided by Mike, and would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is interested in this type of charter.
From the start, Mike was great at communicating with us and is very enthusiastic about his services. Our primary goal was to catch cod, and we did exactly that. Mike put us on a ton of fish, and all 6 members of our group were fortunate enough to catch multiple fish. With the timing of our trip, we also saw whales while out on the boat. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about fishing, boating, site seeing, and everything that comes with it. He is very personable and you are sure to hear some great stories. This was a very memorable experience.

Our guide was next level awesome. He went Above and beyond to make the trip great. My son and I caught 9 cod. Then we ate em. My son really wanted to eat a fish he caught and the guide made that happen.
