Itinerary
Our smaller, faster vessels take you out for whales and wildlife. Anacortes is a short drive from Bellingham and Birch Bay and is about 1.5hrs from Seattle. No ferry needed! We head out into the San Juans and Canadian Gulf islands to search for Orca, Humpbacks, Grays and Minkes. We see whales on 98% of our trips! We also see many other varieties of wildlife including porpoises, seals, sea lions, sea birds and otters. We also customize Private Charters and can add fishing, kayaking, island hopping and more!

Amazing day with orcas!
Very clean boat. Captain Matt, Sophie and Sean took great care for our safety, fun and knowledge about the animals we saw.
We saw a pod of orcas, sea lions, porpoises, eagles and many other sea birds!!
We learned about sea currents. Everyone really enjoys working on the Orca Express!

Clint, Sean, and Brent were fantastic! We saw lots of different wildlife including bald eagles, harbor seals, stellar sea lions, and Orcas! Some of the orcas got incredibly close to the boat and it was an incredibly special experience I will never forget! I will definitely be coming back!

Captain Jim and naturalist Sam were great They did their best to find us some whales today but no luck, however, they gave us spam for a free returning trip.

This group is amazing. We had such a great time even though it was rainy and cold. They definitely knew what they were doing. We saw a humpback whale and then saw two killer whales. While we were watching the two Orcas they let us know that the rest of their pod was coming to join them. It was amazing there were 6 or 7 Orcas.

Beautiful natural experience! We met Indie the Orca. Saw Stellar Sea Lions and harbour seals. And as a bonus, a bald eagle on the way back to Anacortes! Fabulous trip! One tip, be sure to dress appropriately, very cold and face numbing. Layers, layers, layers! And don't forget the gloves! 😊

We did see orca whales. From a far distance. The advertising pictures were far from
What we observed. We also added a 30 minute boat ride on both ends of the trip to add more passengers from another location. That was disappointing and not disclosed. We would much rather have spent our time looking for more whales than picking up more people.

This experience is one of a kind. Staff very informative and friendly. Guaranteed that you’ll see whales and there they were a group of whales we followed. What a great day on a boat.

First of all Trevor and Sam were great guides. They were knowledgeable, entertaining and engaged throughout the tour. The views were awesome and we were able to see two pods of Orca whales, seals and a bald eagle. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
