Memorable experience.
Lori went out of her way to give us a whale experience. Loved it. Authentic and respectfully done. Majestic site. Always allow a couple of days to get best conditions.

What an AWESOME experience! We were able to see a family of Bigg’s orcas and a calf off the shoreline of Pender island!! Our captain/naturalist, Lori was great! She was knowledgeable, friendly and the best!! If you have the opportunity, you should absolutely do this tour!

Great experience and happy with the service provided by Orca Spirit Adventures. Our guide was great and we had a lot of fun on the Zodiac boat.
As a note to the business, a little more or a heads up on how you should wrap up warm for it even if the weather is good would be appreciated, and the life jacket suit things probably need repairing/replacing as they’re all rather battered and missing various fasteners that might help with the cold.
Don’t let these put you off through, I’d still book with this company again.

very cool tour, we even managed to see killer whales, incredible captain who gave us a cool trip on the waves. For the best experience, choose the evening sessions, very nice view of the sunset and the mountains.

This company is horrible. We came to Victoria for one day and the big activity for the day was this tour. As we arrived they told us that the tour was delayed and that we could not go because there were not enough people for us to go. 1,5 hours later we came back and they were going to give us our suits. However, the other family that was going with us had 2 small children but they were in the age and height requirement for this trip. So when they got a suit for the smallest child it was way too big. Everyone could see that this suit was in no way fitted for a 6 year old and so they could not go because it was illegal. So, then we could hear the result that we had been waiting for for almost half an hour which was that we could not go today. And since we are leaving tommorow we also couldn’t go on that trip. So we had to take the refund but we also had to wait for that for about 20 minutes because they didn’t know how to make a refund. All and all we waited for 1,5 hours for the next tour, than we waited another 1,5 hours to finally hear that we couldn’t go. No extra something for the inconvenience, just the refund. Absolutely f*cking horrible evening and everything that they could mess up was messed up. Don’t go.

The trip was amazing! Lori was kind, knowledgeable, precise and safe in her driving of the boat, and invested in our experience and interest in seeing the marine wildlife. She went the extra mile and we really appreciate it!

We had an incredible trip. The crew welcomed us super polite and lovely and gave us the warm suits for the tour. We went with the zodiac boat, which is super fun to drive with, to the US waters. At the beginning of our tour we saw a california sea lion eating a big salmon. And then we saw a pod of 10 Orcas. With two really big males. They were hunting and playing. They were staying at the same place for a super long time so we could turn off the boat and enjoy these beautiful animals for an hour. Our tour guide Lori gave us some super interesting informations about the Orcas and their behaviors.
We all felt in love with these beautiful animals.
The tour is a must do when you are visiting Victoria :)! Thank you!

Although we wish we had been more assertive to the others on the boat that we wanted to sit together as a couple, my husband and I had an incredible time on the zodiac whale watching tour! We hope to go again on our next trip!

This was the highlight of our trip. A pod of killer whales, including a baby!!! We were so close I could have thrown a stone and hit one of them. To watch the adults teach the baby to hunt was fascinating. The bull was huge. It was an unforgettable experience, absolutely AMAZING!
We also saw humpback whales so close to our boat that when it unexpectedly came up for air its massive body created large waves which added to our excitement, a sea otter, porpoises, and sea lions (boy, do they smell). Our captain was well educated and shared so much information with us that I thought I was taking part in a National Geographic documentary, LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR TOUR!
Well worth the money.
