We were a group of four, from Iceland and Lithuania, and all of os had a fantastic time with Reykjavik Sailors!!! The guide was professional, funny and very knowledgeable. We got to see a lot of puffins and other seabirds, some bigger types of whales and we had docents of dolphins swim and play all around us. The sailing was smooth, you could by drinks and snacks on board and they even offered everyone seasickness tablets (for those who needed one) and warm overalls to use, free of charge. I highly recommend a tour with Reykjavik Sailors to everyone :)

Only had 1 whale on the trip and lots of dolphins. In general I thought it was a pleasant experience, just depends on the weather and the luck of the boat trip in regards to what you see. There are indoor and outdoor viewing areas, with bathrooms on board. There is also motion sickness medicine available and rain suits for free if needed. I thought the experience was overall relaxing

Great experience to go whale watching. They have 2 times available- 9am and 1pm. The boat was comfortable, with plenty space and seating both indoors and outdoors. Viewing decks were perfect to be able to see whales. They provided clean comfortable waterproof sailing coats of all sizes so you're ready and covered even if you don’t come fully prepared. They definitely care about your time with them as they had anti-sickness tablets available as well as sickbags. So on to the experience- went on the afternoon trip. had a great guide on the boat who was able to point out where to look and what to look out for so we caught loads of great photos and videos. Got to see loads of whales, both eating, diving and blowing. Also schools of dolphins swimming too! Overall a great experience and I'd recommend the tour with these.

It was ok- the tour guide was trying really hard to be funny and it’s just cringy humor. No whales were seen, instead the company offers a “complimentary” tour again, how about a partial refund? Most travelers will not visit Iceland again.

The experience was overall excellent. The tour guide shared so many whale facts with us. We only ended up seeing one whale but the whale came up many times. The views were also incredible. I would highly recommend whale watching with them. Plus you also get a discount at the whale museum which was my favorite destination of the trip.

While my tour did not see any whales, the crew went the extra mile so we could see some White Beaked Dolphins. They were gorgeous and playful. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. It was also nice having snacks and beverages available for purchase. I went in March 2024 during volcanic activity. Out in Faxaflói bay, I could see the smoke from the volcanic eruption in Grindavík.

The crew seemed nice. The weather was great. We saw 6-7 dolphins and one minke whale. It is disappointing considering that this is supposed to be a whale watching your. The company did not offer any discounted or free return options as we only saw the back of one whale and a few dolphins.
