This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Playa Manuel Antonio, Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, 6 kms south of Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Quepos 195-6350 Costa Rica
Once you are picked up at your hotel the drive is about 25 minutes to the starting point. On the way there, we drive through a couple of local Costa Rican towns. It is an informative ride as our guides tell you about the Costa Rican lifestyle and answer any of your questions.
Once we get to our destination, you are fitted with the rafting gear and given a safety briefing. The ride down the river is about 1 1/2 hours though lush jungle and rain forest. The rapids are class 3 and 3+. Towards the end we float through a palm plantation before getting to the take out. Here you will be served a delicious snack of pineapple, fruit juice, water and cookies. The drive back to your hotel is only about 20 minutes.

Traveler pickup is offered
We can pick you up at your Manuel Antonio or Quepos hotel, air b&b, or private rental home. We can also meet you at the Delta Gas station parking lot right across from the Max Teran Valls Hospital (Quepos Hospital) if you are driving from outside of the Manuel Antonio or Quepos area.

It was our first time white water rafting and start to finish, Damian gave us the information and instructions to stay safe and have a blast on the river. In between rapids we were able to spot many birds which Damian's wealth of knowledge was able to help us identify. Super bonus was Landon's photos of us having the time of our lives experiencing this gorgeous ecosystem!

It was first time white water rafting so, it was quite the introduction! Two others in my group had previously rafted and were looking for a “higher level” experience. I, literally, was along for the right so I agreed to “test the waters”, as it were. My guides, Mel & Lando, took great care of me, checked in frequently & offered immense support throughout the trip. It was my first rafting experience, but certainly not my last, because of them!

We had a great time white water rafting with Costa Rica Tropical Adventures!! The guides were awesome and very professional. Would 100% recommend and do again if we find ourselves back in the area! Damian and his group are the best !

Damian was an excellent guide for our 1st ever white water raft experience.It was a real adrenaline rush in the rapids.This was intermixed with real peaceful tranquility admiring the canyon and surroundings.The water was refreshing and we were the first raft on the Rio Naranjo in the morning so no other rafts to contend with. It was also great that only my son & I were in the raft with Damian so a real personal experience. I would highly recommend this rafting experience as it was such a fun and fulfilling thing to do and glad that we booked this adventure.
Finally,Damian’s colleague took photos of us rafting and these are great memories to look back upon.
If you are slightly nervous about booking,don’t be,as you are in excellent hands.Book & enjoy

Dom and his family and staff are some of the best tour operators I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They took care of our safety first and always. After that, they made us feel like family and provided us with an amazing adventure for first-time white water rafters. The river was the lowest it has been in decades due to EL Nino, but that had no negative impact on the amount of fun and adventure that Dom was able to provide. I would recommend Dom to all my friends in their visit to Costa Rica. His recommendation is for Koky BBQ ribs was spot on. Great BBQ ribs with a sauce that was so unique that it put the ribs in running for best I have ever had, and this is from an Okie who lived in Kansas City!!

It was really fun. I loved the water and the Information the Tour Guide could give us on nearly everything. It was a good size of people so everyone was seen and heard in their needs. When I return to Costa Rica I will definitely book this tour again ☺️

Damien and his crew were great. They communicated early on meeting time and place. The drive to the starting point was easy and quite beautiful. Drove through a farm within the rainforest. The crew explained all the necessary information on rafting and safety. They made sure nothing went wrong during the excursion. It was challenging but a ton of fun. The rapids were rough but the guides made sure all was good. Swimming in the river, a small cliff jump and sitting in waterfall was an added bonus. They took pictures for the group to buy. The fresh fruit, cookies, and juice were a perfect ending. Thanks for a great day! Highly recommend!

Damian and Mel were amazing guides. Both spoke perfect english and explained exactly what to expect. The safety briefing was on point and made us feel very comfortable. The experience was exilirating and super fun! Loved our time at the waterfall. Highly recommendmend this tour company.
