Whitewater rafting in the truly amazing Raundal valley in Voss, the adventure capital of Norway
Embark with your friends or family on an outstanding adventure to discover the magnificent Raundal River. On the whitewater rafting tour, you’ll be able to paddle awesome rapids in one of the most scenic environments in the world.
Our qualified international guides are certified River Rafting Guides, means we hire the best out there for your safety! They will provide you safety instructions (on land and in the water) and teach you some skills that you can apply to some future paddle adventures.
This tour is suitable for beginners and experienced, you will have to paddle and work as a team to float down the river, and there will be opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful pools and waterfalls along the trip!

From the onset, Outdoor Norway provided an informative briefing about the gear, ensuring we were well-equipped for the adventure. Post dressing, a shuttle transported us to the river, where we were treated to an extensive overview about rafting and safety procedures. The journey down the river was spectacular, marked with enthralling rapids that tested our adrenaline. A special mention to our remarkable guide, Mohan, who was instrumental in making the trip memorable. Suman, accompanying us on a canoe, served as a safety net, always on standby for any unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately, everything went seamlessly.
There was a brief interlude for a swim, which, even with a wetsuit, was a bit chilly. But such thoughts are easily overshadowed by the sheer excitement of the experience. Due to the strong currents, we were advised against venturing near a waterfall, prioritising our safety. This led to a short trek before we resumed our watery escapade.
As our journey culminated, the dedicated team assisted in hauling the raft ashore, testament to their unwavering commitment. In summary, it was a stellar experience with Outdoor Norway in Raundal Valley, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of adventure and scenic beauty.

I had such a fun time with Suman our guide! I felt safe and secure with his expertise, and he prepared us at each curve. I went in feeling nervous, and I ended up with a huge smile on my face. What fun! And the pictures they took were beautiful!

Amazing experience ! It was the 1st time I did rafting.
The guide, Mohan, helped us a lot and gave us a lot of tips and advice. He was also very kind and helpful. He brought a lot of joy to the activity.
The rafting itself was incredible and not dangerous. We had a lot of fun.
To be noted, a another guide took pictures and we could bought them for 300 NOK at the end of the activity.
Totally worth it !

What an incredible experience! Knowledgeable guides, well-maintained equipment, gorgeous views and a wonderful time. We brought a group of 18(!!) people to this experience and every single one of them had nothing but great things to say. A very special thank you to Mohan - the best guide ever. We had a very adventurous group of and he rose to the challenge, allowing us to have a great time while keeping us safe. Highly recommend!

This rafting trip was our highlight of our trip to Norway. The kids LOVED IT! They were doing backflips off the raft and dancing in the van traveling to and from the river. Our guide, Ben, was so sweet and funny! Almost everyone fell out of the boat or jumped out of the boat. It was an exhilarating change of pace at the end of a wonderful vacation.

Mohan was our guide. He did an amazing job making us feel comfortable and keeping the mood fun and positive. Rapids were great and not too tough for us first time rafters. Two teens loved it.
