This food tour starts in Bairro Alto in a beautiful garden with an amazing view over Lisbon. We get to see also the labyrinthic streets of Bairro Alto and its famous and typical bars/restaurants.
Next Stop is a wine tasting experience in one of the most famous wine cellars/bars in Portugal. You get to try 3 different kinds of wine (White, Red and Moscatel).
We start our way to the ferry by going down one of the most Beautiful Streets of Lisbon with a great view of the Tagus river. Here is a great spot for pictures as the light is considered among photographers one of the best in the world.

It’s time now to go on a beautiful ferry ride on the tagus River to Cacilhas. During the ride you can enjoy the amazing views of Lisbon, the river and of the fisherman's village of Cacilhas
(and maybe dolphins - sometimes they say "hello") with a beautiful sunset.
Cacilhas is located at the opposite side of the Tagus river, and it’s known for its phenomenal seafood restaurants.
During Dinner you will enjoy what we believe it’s the best sunset of Portugal having the river and Old Town of Lisbon right in front of your Eyes.

We messed up the time of the tour so after finding a contact to call in (which was not easy) we had great service on the phone for Josh who talked us through getting to the ferry ourselves and arranger a person to meet us there and point us in the direction of the harbourside restaurant where we had the most amazing fresh seafood dinner (clams, prawns, shrimp & lobster), complete with Vinho Verde and directed us along the water-side after to view the sunset over the Vasco da Gama Bridge and the city of Lisbon ourselves. The Graffiti along the seafront was also amazing, as was watching local fishermen and women catching squid.

Our guide David was very attentive to us and gave us insight into Lisbon as we explored the area on the way to the ferry.
We loved the abundance of seafood and the gorgeous sunset.

The tour started out great with the tour guide, David, as he shared the sights and history of Lisbon with us as we walked to the wine tasting and down to the pier to catch the ferry over to the restaurant. This is where he left us on our own to go over on the ferry to the restaurant and told us his "guy" will meet us on the other side. The "guy" did meet us and lead us to a hole in the wall restaurant that lack any ambiance. We were fed an over abundance of seafood and when we were finished dinner we were left on our own to get the ferry back across the river to our starting point. This was our first tour in Lisbon but we had to compare this tour to a food tour with Food Sherpa in Malaga Spain a few days earlier that was outstanding. I might not be fair with my rating on this tour but the other guest agreed with us that we were all not impressed with this tour. We all would have appreciated it more if David had joined us for the full tour.

Start and it took many days before you get you money back. Unfair, if you cancel a day before

We had a wonderful wine tasting followed by a ferry and delicious seafood dinner. There was so much seafood. It was amazing and the guide George was great!! Fun for kids and adults.

En dyr tur som ikke er pengene værd. Vinsmagningen var udemærket, men maden og servicen på spisestedet svarede slet ikke til prisen.

e annullata perché ero solo e tutti i locali chiusi, unica cosa positiva la guida provato contattarmi con esito negativo, viene il giorno della degustazione per avvisare che veniva annullato tutto, ovviamente aspetterò che venga rimborsato per i soldi pagati
