Itinerary
Once you have met your instructor you can complete the indemnity with him and receive instruction on what to expect and what is expected of you. Once the briefing is done you are clipped into your passenger-harness and a helmet. Before you know it you will be running off a mountain, screaming with joy and excitement. Once the flight experience is complete you receive your in-flight media, debriefed and can be returned to the meeting point.

Having cancelled the initial paragliding flight in Paarl at little more than 24 hours notice - "we are sorry to inform you that the tandem paragliding experiences can not take place in the Winelands anymore" - the activity supplier offered us the opportunity to rebook in Cape Town. We advised them the same day of one date we could make the following week. However, despite repeated subsequent attempts to make contact throughout the week to check for confirmation and the time/location details, we heard nothing. Given this, the night before our proposed date I requested to cancel and for confirmation that this had been actioned. Again, I heard nothing. Ultimately, I had to raise the issue with my credit card provider in order to have them refund the activity charge to my account while they recovered it from the activity supplier. A week after the attempted rearranged date, and having been contacted by my credit card supplier, the activity supplier made contact with me claiming "I did not hear back from you regarding confirming the date and time...". The 5 emails and SMS message to the contrary that I was able to forward to my credit card provider evidenced the inaccuracy of their response. Had they simply apologised, I would have seen no need to highlight my experience. However, their approach in trying to blame me for their failings deserves to be highlighted to potential customers to inform their decision before placing business with this company. Maybe it was a one-off... let's hope so.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Winelands Paragliding. Did the Hike and Fly option. It is worth every cent!!!!! A million times better than the short little flight down Signal Hill in CPT.
Pilot's were absolutely professional, safe, procedural and patient in the way they conducted themselves and handled me and my fiancé. She was quite scared but wound up really enjoying the experience.
Furthermore I must credit Winelands Paragliding for making my engagement an absolute success!!! The pilots ensured i was on the ground first, after a lovely long flight, so that I was in position - on one knee (next to my banner) - ready to ask for her hand in marriage. You guys were amazing. Thanks for the fantastic photos and videos. Kind regards Jacques.

Mias and Estiaan were fantastic and made sure that this was an unforgettable experience. They were very professional and did their best to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible - I look forward to coming back for another round over the Winelands!

This experience was part of a 50th birthday celebration & it didn't disappoint! Mias is fantastic. It's clear he loves what he does and cares about the land. When you're in the air the views are stunning. And along the way I learned a few things about the area. I'd definitely recommend it

What an awesome experience - Well organised, exhilarating and fun. Nature, flying and laughing, what more can you ask for?
Mias was great and made it an easy and comfortable experience. Did some adrenalin pumping wing-over’s, got some good altitude and marvelled at the scenery on the way down.
Tranquil yet exciting.
If you’re on the fence, just do it :)
