Visit the natural classroom Yehliu Geopark, which shows bizarre terrain formed by thousands of years of geological movement that force the mountain jutting out of the ocean.

Stop At: Shifen Waterfall, No.10 Gankeng Road, Nanshan Village, Pingxi, New Taipei 226 Taiwan
Walk for an hour to discover the broadest waterfall in Taiwan, recessed within a beautiful forested mountainside setting, 20 metres (66 ft) in height and 40 metres (130 ft) in width. On a sunny day, there is a possibility of catching the view of a rainbow by the waterfall.

Stop At: Shifen Old Street, Pingxi, New Taipei Taiwan
Shifen, get ready for the Sky Lantern Festival that is annually held here, and is increasingly getting recognized globally as a key international folklore event.

Stop At: Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street), Jishan Street, Ruifang, New Taipei 22450 Taiwan
One of the most popular attractions. You can stroll in its old cobblestone street and experience the bright period of gold mining.

Our tour guide Joanna was amazing, knowledgeable and very pleasant to be around. We had so much fun. The views were as amazing as advertised.

We were very disappointed by this tour. It is marketed as a tour with a licensed English speaking guide. In other reviews I see people saying they received a driver and a guide. We received one person to show us around, Lin. Lin was a great driver but was really nothing more than a driver. We didn’t receive any information that a true tour guide would have given, and Lin I do not believe would qualify as a licensed English speaking guide. He was trying his best and very kind but did not speak English well enough to be a guide. For example before leaving one of the stops we tried to tell him we wanted to get one of the food dishes before we left but he could not understand. He could answer very few of our questions and communication was difficult. We have done many tours all around the world and are very patient when trying to communicate with others with a language barrier, but when it comes down to it he should not be marketed as an English speaking guide, he should be marketed as strictly a driver. This was really not worth $415 for strictly a driver, I regret spending money on this and wish we rented a car on our own.

Awesome tour outside of the city. Felix our tour guide and Iris our driver were amazing. They knew all the best spots for photos, food, and made it easy to get around. They were so excited to share their country, traditions, and food with us. Felix was outstanding we joked and called him the mayor because he knew people everywhere we went. It led to a lot of free samples. The waterfall was beautiful and the lantern flight was a blast. I would recommend this trip to anyone that wants to get out and see the country side.

I traveled solo and booked this tour last minute. They sent updates and information before the day of the trip. It was hassle-free, even on the day of the meet-up. Had no trouble with anything and the tour itself was really fun. They provided water on the bus as well. Bobo, our tour guide, was very cheerful and nice. Learned a lot about Shifen and Jiufen and we watched videos on the bus. Shifen Waterfall was absolutely beautiful; Pingxi Lantern experience was one for the books. And of course, as expected, Jiufen at night was a great sight to see. Also met lovely people on the tour. Overall a nice experience!

Great tour with small group size. Get to see the countryside outside the city. Enjoyed seeing the small towns & doing the sky lantern was fun. This is the way to see the sights outside the city.

I had 4 days to visit a Taiwan for a quick first look and decided to book this tour company. I have used Viator a lot without posting a lot of reviews however the service and focus on ensuring my expectations were met compelled me to write this review. My guide on the day was excellent” Thank you Phillip 👍” and Jo who organised not only this tour but other activities was exceptional. My only regret was that I booked a full day city tour with another company on my second last day and wished I had booked everything with Myproguide due to the incredibly hospitable service they provided. Flexible, accomodating, personable and sincere. I would definitely use this company again.

It was a fun experience and I experienced things I wouldn't have experienced elsewhere. It was a memorable experience. MyProGuide was very accommodating, and our tour guide, Patrick, helped us through the city and helped us book everything. Would recommend.

We are a group of two families with young kids, and our tour guide, Pauline Yu was flexible and arranged our tour based on fun activities for kids and historical information for adults. She also has many secret spots for us to avoid the tour crowds and enjoy beautiful view and tea in Juifen! She took us tea-tasting, and we were amazed by how well the tea was prepared and I probably tasted the best tea in my life. We all had so much fun and enjoyed our Taipei trip!! It was definitely hard to say goodbye though.
