We had a really interesting day with Freya our guide. It was a shame about the weather but that cannot be helped. This tour gives you a great introduction to the area and its history and even the time spent in the car is interesting as your guide will be happy to answer all your background questions. Dinner in the evening was excellent and all ran very smoothly. The pace of the day is just right and Freya was happy to adapt the tour a little for us. I will also give a huge thank you to Sunny in the office for making sure that everything was organised as it should be. I cannot rate this high enough.

She was friendly and helpful, answered all of our questions and made good suggestions for our other days in Shanghai. The tour does all it says and a bit more. It was really nice to spend the day with someone that enjoys what she does. The driver was also very friendly, fast and always on time. Very nice new tesla.

The Watertown section of this tour was a marvelous adventure and such a pleasant diversion from the bright lights and bustle of downtown Shanghai. Sunny and her driver picked us up at the hotel in a spotless van with plenty of water for the trip (it was a hot day!). After a scenic drive through the suburbs and countryside surrounding Shanghai (during which Sunny gave lots of information about the architecture and history of buildings in the Shanghai area), we arrived at Zhujiajiao - a quiet, beautiful town with numerous canals. Sunny took care of tickets and arrangements, and assisted us with health QR codes and other details we needed for access. We went to some of the shopping areas first, enjoying fun and tasty local fare such as "popcorn ice cream" (made with liguid nitrogen) and various delicious rice wines. Sunny even helped us with a little bartering! We cruised the narrow stone-lined streets and bridges that traversed the canals. Simply beautiful. We then took a gondola-type ride and Sunny added local history and colour to the surroundings. It added a lot to the experience. The Watertown section of the tour took just over 5 hours, including driving time. A great way to spend the first half of our day! The Shanghai City Highlights portion of the tour was the Oriental Pearl Tower (since you can customize your tour with Sunny, this was the only major landmark we had not seen) - an amazing view (and we got some great pics!) Again, Sunny took care of us with top notch service. We can't thank Sunny enough for the care she took in assisting us and her attention to detail. If you need someone for a tour of Shanghai or the surrounding areas, we highly recommend Sunny - she is great!

We had a wonderful tour! It was easy to book and everything was very easy to set up. We were in town for my husbands work conference and only had 1 day without any meetings to see the highlights. Rita was our tour guide and she met us in the lobby of our hotel. We had a wonderful clean car and private driver. The water town was really amazing and Rita did a great job explaining all the delicacies and wares in the market and was willing to help us find souvenirs we were interested in. Next we chose to visit Yuyuan Street and Rita took us to a delicious dumpling and noodle restaurant for lunch. Then we had a tour of Yu Garden which was beautiful. Lastly we went to Jade Buddha Temple, which was truly amazing! I am so glad we had a guide like Rita to help us navigate the city and explain the history behind all the things we were seeing. I highly recommend!

My sister and I stopped in Shanghai before our cruise. We wished we had booked more days in Shanghai but it was too late to make changes. Claire was our guide and managed to show us everything we wanted to see and the Watertown. She then took us directly to our cruise ship. This was perfect since we were jet lagged and never could have accomplished all of this in one day. We really enjoyed Claire who has excellent English speaking skills and was very nice. She took us to a nice restaurant and overall this was one of the highlights of our trip. I was initially a little nervous about making a down payment, but Sunny was super easy to work with and our guide confirmed the night before by phone and met us promptly in the lobby. I encourage anyone to book for the best use of your time. By the way.....she also had a driver, so was able to drop us off in busy spots and jump out with us and then we were promptly picked up and on to the next.

We had an unbelievable guide for this trip, Claire. She was very knowledgeable on the history of China, and she did a fantastic job describing current events in the country. I could not have asked for a better tour of the Shanghai area. I would recommend this to anyone visiting!
