You'll visit an award-winning French Farmers Market with fabulous food stalls. Leisurely cycle around the gorgeous 2,000 acres Royal Domaine of Versailles to see swaying wheat fields and lush green forests. Enjoy a picnic on the soft grass as you look out over a lake with swans in it. Visit two smaller chateaux called the Grand and Petit Trianon. Pet a sheep while you explore Queen Marie-Antoinette's adorable Private Farm village with thatched roof buildings. In the event that you have never been in the driver's seat of a four-wheeled quad bicycle, you will most likely discover it an exciting background. Llanos de Cortes Waterfall
To start your day, we will take you to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall in Bagaces, where you can relax and take a swim at the falls or walk around exploring the flora and fauna.
Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park
Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park. You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon.
Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary
After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.
Taking off from the Alaska Glacier Lodge in the Mat-Su Valley to the Knik Glacier (5 miles wide by 29 miles long!). We land right in the middle of the Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes on ice thousands of years old with your pilot/guide. We provide ice spikes for you to safely hike on the ice Take pictures of the blue lakes on top of the glacier, crevasses and ice ‘sculptures’ made by wind, sunshine & time. (Summer)
**WINTER TOURS (Oct-April) please note that this tour in some winter months may not land directly on top of the glacier due to snow cover and safety issues, landing may be on the side next to incredible deep blue ice formations**
