The service starts from the pre-established meeting place with the customer. Once we leave we will go towards Taormina, one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Italy. There travelers will get off at Porta Catania, the gateway to the center of Taormina where they can stroll along Corso Umberto, visit the famous ancient Greco-Roman theatre, taste typical Sicilian cuisine and more.
After the tour in Taormina we will meet again where we left off and we will set off towards Castelmola, known for its ancient villages and wonderful panorama. There they will be able to visit the village and the famous castle of Norman origin.
Once the tour in Castelmola is finished, we will return to the arrival point agreed with the customer, which in case it is the city of Messina, travelers will also be able to visit the Sanctuary of Christ the King and the Duomo cathedral, where the Europe's largest astronomical clock. Etna Tour Morning is our half-day itinerary to discover the volcano, which combines a visit to ancient craters at an altitude of 2000 meters and a light trek along a path immersed in volcanic landscapes.
Starting from your accommodation in Catania, the first stop will be a visit to a lava flow cave with torches and helmets.
Second stop to discover the Silvestri Craters created by the 1892 eruption on the southern side of the volcano, the route continues with a trek lasting approximately 1 and a half hours along a path characterized by ancient flows and breathtaking landscapes to discover the Silvestri craters born from eruption of 1892 on the southern slope of the volcano.
The tour will end with a typical Sicilian lunch where you can taste the flavors and food and wine tradition of the Etna area. A moment of pleasure, but also of relaxation before returning to the pick-up point in Catania.
