This self-driven tour is really at your own pace. You can stop as you please and for as long as you prefer. This tour has a focus on the cultural aspects of Senja and Tromsø that are often over looked by travellers as they are not well known. Guests will be provided with a detailed information package after purchase providing information on each out, links to our maps with great spots for hikes or all levels, photography locations and other important points of interest.
This tour is unique because we visit 3 countries and do many wonderful things in a short time… Northern Lights, we can have the opportunity to see whales and also wild moose, the reason I offer this experience is to get as many people as possible to see these wonders of the frozen north of Europe.
The Sognefjord, King of the Fjords, is the longest fjord in Norway.
Walk directly from your hotel to our yacht, and start a 2-day - 1-night cruise to the Sognefjord, with Balestrand, Nærøyfjorden, and Flåm.
We start at Bryggen after breakfast and cruise out the fjords of Bergen, through the archipelago, passing small islands and fjords on the way. Our pulse is low, and we just enjoy the lovely surroundings on the way.
You can choose if you want to stay on the boat over the night, or go to Kviknes Hotel. If you sleep on the yacht, it will be entirely yours, and you have the evening and night by yourself. We recommend dinner at the Kviknes Hotel, a 20 meter walk from the boat.
In Flåm you leave the boat, and have lunch before you enter the Flåm railway, said to be the most beautiful train-journey in the world.
The Flåm railway is connected with the train back to Bergen, or you can take the train back down to Flåm, and our VIP car will take you back to Bergen.
