Experience the majestic beauty of the Western Norway on this is a short 8-to-9-hour round-trip by car from Bergen. In a comfortable private minivan, with a private driver-guide, you will travel to the Hardangerfjord, the second longest fjord in Norway. On this tour, you will see several gorgeous fjords, stop at 3 fresh waterfalls, experience the amazingly beautiful nature of the Hardanger region. On the way back to Bergen you will stop in the town of Vossevangen – the center of Voss municipality – where you will take the cable car up to Mount Hangur for a magnificent view and a tasty meal. Your own professional driver-guide is with you all the time and provides interesting commentary to the sights and general information about Norway.
We want to take you through the beautiful area outside Alesund, to the land of the trolls, with postcard views and breathtakingly beautiful nature. During the day you will also visit the Valldal, famous for their delicious strawberries. Don't forget your camera - you will definitely need it!
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or from your cruise ship.
You will visit the fjord towns of Spjelkavik and Sjøholt and villages of Liabygda and Valldal, drive trough the famous Trollsroad. You will have a lot of stops during your way, to take photos, to drink coffee or have a snack.
In the end, the driver will take you back.
We will cruise for 3 hours towards Rosendal, through fjords and passing islands on the way.
When we get to Rosendal, there is a 10 minute walk up to the Baroniet, and the Rosendal Gardens
Ludvig Rosenkrantz and Karen Mowatt’s little manor from the 1660s is surrounded by beautiful and historic grounds, including a Renaissance garden, a romantic landscape garden and the kitchen garden. From Rosendal Garden you get a grand view of the enveloping mountains Malmangernuten, melderskin and Laurdalstind, and of the waterfall Hattebergfossen and Hardangerfjorden. The garden has been built up over several hundred years of changing styles and fashions in gardening, Here you can experience more than 300 years of garden history. We reccomend lunch in the Garden cafeteria.

One of the 19th century super stars was a Norwegian musician from Bergen. He was a virtuoso violinist named Ole Bull and he lived on the Island of Light - the Lysøen - where this tour will take you and where you can visit Ole Bull's amazing villa.
During this 4-hours long tour in your own private car with your own private driver-guide, we will drive from Bergen centre to Buena quay. From there a small passenger ferry leaves to the Lysøen island regularly.
On the island you will visit the gorgeous villa, which is now a museum, on a guided tour. Afterwards, you are free to explore the island on your own or in the company of your guide - taking a walk on one of many walking paths.
If we have enough time on the return journey to Bergen, we will make a stop at the Lysekloster - the ruins of a Cistercian monastery from the 12th century. The tour ends in Bergen centre.
The villa will be closed due to reconstruction in 2020 - 2024. In this period you can only see the villa from outside.

The road up from Korgen, turns through large agricultural valleys and past several houses on the way up. At the top of Leirskardalen, asphalt slides over into gravel and we find parking at Leirbotnet. The trip continues slowly uphill before a final ascent carries us forward over a lunar landscape. After a five kilometer walk from the parking lot, we see the plateau where Rabothytta stands steady and forms an adventurous sight with the fog thickly hanging over it. The building slides into the landscape with its diagonal shapes and earth tones.
Majestically, it lies there waiting for you as you approach 1,200 meters above sea level. Rabothytta is located at the end of Okstindbreen, and the blue ice forms a fantastic contrast to the color of the cabin. … And the view; it simply takes your breath away!

You will start the tour from the outside the Oil Museum – Norwegian Petroleum Museum and walk through “The colourful street”, climb “Valberget”, the old fire watchtower. Continue Kirkegata Street towards the Stavanger cathedral. Stop outside the cathedral to hear its history and continue past the old cathedral school and the small lake Breiavannet. You and your guide then walk up to Old Stavanger and through the streets to the new concert hall.
At the end of this tour, your guide will help you to call a taxi back or suggest the place to have the best dinner in the city and leave you at that place.
