Staged outdoors amidst a scenic oceanfront setting alongside Kaanapali Beach, this intriguing luau performance and dinner show is held on-site at our resort and showcases stories of demi-god Maui, ancient Hawaiian kahiko with traditional costumes and Hawaiian awana with a grander spectrum, leading up to the island’s most extreme fire knife dance finale.
Tickets are limited to less than 60 guests a show to provide close-up miracles, laughter, and the joys of a bygone era. Guests can participate in the show and enjoy the childlike wonder created by miraculous feats of prestidigitation. Aloha Kai Luau is located at Sea Life Park which is a marine mammal park, bird sanctuary, and aquarium. Sea Life Park is Hawaii's best wild life marine park & aquarium. You can either drive yourself or you can be escorted via tour bus while you enjoy the interesting and entertaining commentary by the driver. Some of the places you will pass are on the way to Aloha Kai Luau are Diamond Head, Koko Head, Hanauma Bay, Lanai Lookout, Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Beach, and Makapuu lighthouse. Again, Just 25 minutes from Waikiki which is much closer than other luaus where you have to get on the highway and drive up to 90 minutes, the luau setting is worth the short journey — Enjoy Oahus highest sea cliffs towering behind with moonlit skies reflecting off to Deep blue Pacific Ocean in your front view.

The Ahi Uila Fire Show on Kauai stands out for its mesmerizing blend of traditional Polynesian culture and contemporary performance art. The Manor House Evening package includes a signature four-course meal at Gaylords at Kilohana. Under the direction of Chef de Cuisine you'll delight in a unique menu featuring meats, fish and produce, including fruits and vegetables from Kilohana Plantation’s 60-acre orchard and agricultural park. Celebrate with a champagne toast and walk over to the adjacent pavilion to enjoy the show telling the story of ancient Hawaiian's epic sea voyage from Tahiti to Kauai. Brand new Waikiki's Biggest Show® features a "Hawaiian Journey®" from 1920s to current through powerful performances of music and dance by our artists, hula, fire knife dancers and amazing musicians in our 750-seat premier theater.

The luau is held at the beautiful Mauna Lani, Auberge Resort at Kalāhuipuaʻa, which is a historical area where ancient Hawaiians mastered the art of aquaculture and where King Kamehameha came to recuperate and work in the fishponds.
Guests are welcomed with a traditional Oli (chant) in preparation for preliminary activities with the cast. After the activities, watch as the pig is taken out of the traditional imu pit before it is prepared for the Hawaiian buffet.
The program is capped off by a performance of traditional and modern Hula dances, along with the spectacular Samoan Siva Afi (fire knife dance).
