Europe's highest volcano looms large over Sicily, so this family-friendly tour takes you as close to the top as you can. You'll be driven to Rifugio Sapienza, then swap to a cable car and 4x4 vehicle to reach the main crater at about 2,900m above sea level. The views and lunar landscape from here are nothing short of breathtaking.
Nature trails, caves, woods, and lava flows typify the landscape that leads to the top of Mt Etna. And after pick-up from your hotel you'll be driven to about 1900m above sea level at Rifugio Sapienza on the south side of Etna, where you'll hop off the bus to unearth some more.
On the way you'll learn all there is to know about Mt Etna and its explosive past. And don't worry – there'll be plenty of facts for the little ones to take in, too. Then, you'll get to see it all for yourself during some free time. Switch to a cable car and jump into an off-road vehicle that'll take you rumbling along to the main crater. You'll want your camera for this one.

You will be surrounded by all shades of blue while you admire the morphology of the coast with the vertical walls overlooking the sea when you approach the sea caves.

The price is for the whole boat/2 hours for up to 10 people. Together with your friends and relatives, on board our boats you can spend unforgettable moments, you can celebrate an anniversary, birthday, private parties or a hen/stag party on the blue waters of our sea with beautiful music and refreshing drinks. You can swim in wonderful places, sunbathe, or relax in the shade lulled by the gentle waves of the sea.
During the 2 hours on the boat we will stop for a swim and we will offer you a snack with "almond paste", a typical local dessert, fresh fruit and prosecco.
The duration of the trip can be extended, giving you the opportunity to swim in almost all listed bays and also have lunch on our boat.

Board an air-conditioned minivan for 6 hours to admire the small medieval village of Erice, known by its ancient beauty, the production of Ericini carpet and its delicious almond cakes. Enjoy a visit to the tuna factory in Scopello and take photos at the harbor in Castellammare Del Golfo. Visit the Salt Museum at the Saline Reserve before returning to Trapani. Multilanguage tour who will take you to Mount Etna up to 1900 meters. Short stop on the way climbing up the Volcano. Continuing our climb we will reach the ski resort Rifugio Sapienza (1900 meters a.s.l.). Here you will have free time to walk on the Silvester Craters, to explore the area and to relax.
Lunch and ascent to the top (over 1900 meters) are not included, to purchase on your own. To ascent to the top (optional) you can buy cable car tickets directly on the spot, weather and volcanic conditions permitting.
After your independent ascent to the top or hiking around Rifugio Sapienza, meet again your Driver and transfer to Taormina, the most glamorous town in Sicily. Here time at leisure to stroll around or visit on your own the Greek Theatre. At the end of the tour get back to Palermo.
