Our small group (8 guests max) will depart Melbourne and head straight to the famous 12 Apostles before the masses of people arrive. Here we will take a 1km stroll along the boardwalk while appreciating the stunning views of the limestone stacks before continuing onto Gibson Steps. We walk down the 70m cliffside pathway to the beach where there is plenty of time to take some incredible photos.
Next it’s time for a delicious lunch at our favourite local cafe before we’ll drive through the magical Great Otway National Park and take a short hike through ancient rainforests to one of the Otways' pristine waterfalls (where the big bus companies can’t go).
Our next stop we will take a stroll amongst the giants of the forest at the Californian Redwoods before continuing along the iconic Great Ocean Road stopping at Apollo Bay for an optional ice cream. Kennett River is next where you’ll get the chance to spot native koalas, king parrots & kangaroos going about their routines.
See more of the Great Ocean Road and spend two full days touring one of the world's most scenic coastal roads. Traveling in a comfortable 11 seater mini bus, there will be plenty of stops made along the Great Ocean Road and you will get the opportunity to spot kangaroos and koalas in the wild, see multiple waterfalls and take in the amazing scenery, with enough time allowed to enjoy all fo the highlights along the way. The famous Great Ocean Road is a must for any visitor to Melbourne. This tour is purely private and bespoke, meaning we do not take other groups but up to 7 passengers.
Unlike other tours, you get to choose which particular places and how much time you would like to spend there, and we help that happen. Some areas will be more interesting than others, and you may want to spend more time there, which is why we are flexible. The road is windy and best taken in a smaller vehicle with several stops to enjoy the views and take memorable photos.
The wrong crowd spoils many trips, and we believe if you are going to enjoy this, make it private. This tour is excellent if you have children, and we can accommodate child seats; please advise after you book.
