Filsurf School was created in 2008 by a passionate Portuguese surfer from Porto with wide experience in surfing around the world, surfing competitions, and coaching.
We are a small surf school located in the Algarve whose priority is quality over quantity. At our surf lessons, you can be sure that you will have attention from a surf instructor, use high-quality equipment, stay safe, and learn a lot about surfing and how to surf.
Whether you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, we offer both group and private surf lessons at our surf school in Algarve. Our experienced surf instructors will provide you with personalized guidance to improve your surfing skills.
Join our group lessons for a fun and social experience or take private lessons if you prefer one-on-one attention.

Tropical crystal clear waters makes spotting wildlife easy and our small group sizes gives a rewarding personalised experience with a 4X4 beach adventure included.
This lesson allows anyone to learn surfing from scratch. Our instructors are fun and very well experienced and will provide a safe and exciting surfing lesson. The location we have chosen to do this activity is very safe and ideal for beginners. It is shallow with good waves and a sand bottom without rocks and corals. Safety and customer satisfaction is our priority.

Our private surf lessons don't follow a cookie cutter approach. We plan to customize and mold the lesson to fit your needs and hopes for your surfing experience. We pride ourselves on having the highest - end surfing equipment in town and more importantly, our surf instructors are the kindest personalities on the central coast!

Take a 2-hour group surfing lesson in Margaret River to learn everything you need to know about catching waves and staying safe doing so. A surfing instructor is with you every step of the way: on the beach for demonstrations, in the water for tips and assistance, and providing encouragement when you claim your first wave. When booking, you have the option to upgrade to a 3-lesson package. Use of all gear is provided.

Selong Belanak Beach boasts a unique blend of characteristics that make it perfect for surfing enthusiasts, from beginners eager to catch their first wave to seasoned riders aiming to improve their skills. The beach's gentle, rolling waves provide an optimal platform for beginners to learn the art of paddling, popping up, and riding their first waves.
