Create your own piece of art. Join us for a painting class in our hip and casual studio. No painting experience is required, we will guide you step-by-step in creating the featured painting of the night, which could be a landscape, cactus, flowers, beach scene or something else from our gallery. Although we will all be painting the featured painting, we encourage you to be creative and make the painting your own. You'll meet people from Madrid and all over the world and leave with your finished painting ready to hang on your wall. All materials, 3 hours of instruction and snacks are included in the price. You can purchase beer for 1,00€ and wine for 1,50€ a glass or 5,00€ a bottle.

You will be making 4 pcs of washi postcards and 1 pc of full-size "Rakusui paper". "Rakusui" literally means "dripping water" in Japanese. Different from the standard washi papers, the unique look of "Rakusui paper" features small holes on the surface as a result of applying water in the making process. It has a distinctive and captivating texture when seen through the light.
Plan B (Duration : 45-60 mins)
You will be making 4 pcs of washi postcards with colored papers of your choice. In addition to the washi making process, you will also experience an additional process of adhering colored Japanese papers to the white washi papers that you just made. This process will add more color and patterns to your washi postcards and there are over 100 variations of colored papers for you to choose from.
Let us take you on a fun-filled educational experience of the Southern Coast of Savaii exploring the geological and natural beauties on Savaii. This tour is for those who opt to stay on the main island (Upolu) and have a quick glimpse of the biggest island of the Samoa group.
We will take you to see the majestic Alofaaga Blowholes touted as the best in the world, as well as the Mu Pagoa waterfall in Puleia as it drops off straight into the ocean. Take a refreshing swim at the Afu Aau waterfall in Vailoa Palauli and also get intimate knowledge from the locals as we enter a local home to witness first hand how our traditional cloth (siapo) is made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree.
Finish off the day with a quick stop at the Salelologa market before catching the 2pm ferry back to Upolu.
Visit the authentic washi making factory of RYOZO Yanase Paper Mill and get a deeper look into the world of washi making. The owners, Mr. and Ms. Yanase have years of experience and will give you knowledgeable instructions.
Guests will get to tour the washi factory where they make paper fit for commercials products such as packaging for Japanese sweets. It is a rare opportunity to see such a factory.
Afterwards with the instructions of Ms. Yanase, a traditional craftsman, guests will make a washi piece that is perfect as a tapestry. It is made using traditional techniques so it is a chance to experience authentic washi making.
Learn a new skill and make a completely unique ring that you can wear and treasure forever.
You are encouraged to make your design unique with patterns, textures and personalised stamps.
Wendy Gingell is a recognised ceramic artist and trained team event facilitator.
She is a ceramicist whose work is exhibited in Europe and North America. Exhibited at the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art and American Craft Council craft shows. Her work is part of permanent museums and private collections.

The whole process takes about 60 - 90 minutes and you can take it with you on the same day.
