The animal welfare is one of our top priorities, as everyday of being on the oceans it is not a question of the boat, it is actually the crew and their behaviour towards these magnificent creatures, that is what really matters. The Bahriyeli also have Captains have the full extended licences to be able to go further than 3 miles from the harbour, which is extremely useful when the larger whales come past on their migration, or other species of dolphins, turtles and even sharks. Normally our Short finned Pilot whales is what is seen almost every single day, or our resident bottled nose dolphins. We cannot promise what you will see, but what we can promise and fully guarantee, whatever we see our Captain will not chase, harass or bother them, by respecting them you get so much back, and when a whale or dolphin of its own accord comes to the boat, its an amazing feeling and experience that you will never forget. The Dolphin Cruises are 1 hour narrated cruises through the Destin Harbor, through the East Pass into the Gulf of Mexico and into the Bay near the world-famous Crab Island. Join us early and be one of the first each morning to see the underwater beauty near Cook's Monument and Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park. We leave early so that we can have you in the water before the crowds. Usually, at this time of day, the waters of the Kona coast are crystal clear and offer great visibility. View over 100 different varieties of tropical fish along with an occasional reef shark or sea turtle. These lively snorkeling spots are home to a variety of marine life.
Depending on the day, we may even enjoy a little sightseeing along the coastline where you can view sea caves and lava tubes. If you are lucky, you may spot a pod of dolphins or a whale, which can be found here year-round (humpback whale migration is seasonal!)

Our main goal is to find and swim with whale sharks, and our crew will do their best to achieve that, but remember the tour it’s in their natural habitat not in a park, They’re not trained or caged and you go to visit their home. You also don’t feed them so there’s no way to guarantee that we will find the whale sharks out there, even though we have a high success rate.
