Don't forget a swim suit and towel as there is time for a swim in the surprisingly warm waters of the Oslo fjord! Time for a picnic lunch is included and participants can either bring their own or purchase along the way. Good walking shoes or trail shoes are recommended as the hiking is done on dirt paths, gravel and stones.

It's also a great way to get 100% of guide's attention, to learn more about local history and nature and also about your camera settings, if you are keen to learn about Aurora photography.

You'll be able to see highlights such as the Norwegian Opera and Ballet building, Akershus Fortress, the center of medieval Christiania, the vivid Oslofjord areas, and the Royal Palace. Other sites include the Parliament building and Karl Johans street, which is Oslo's main boulevard.

On this private hike we follow a path that leads us through an alley of leafy trees following a stream. Walking on narrow trails steep uphill surrounded by a wonderful forest it will lead us to a little pike with spectacular view. From here you can see the whole city, the fjord and beyond.
The hike starts in the city centre or at your prefered pickup.
Total distance 6,5km. Estimated time is 2-3 hours.

(Dress according to the weather, hiking shoes or comfortable shoes for walking is recommended. Do not wear your newest and white sneakers as some places may be muddy and wet all year around. In the winter, stingers to put on the shoes will give you a better grip on slippery surfaces, we have some to lend out if you don’t have your own.)

Come with us for your small-group Aurora hunt for an ethical experience chasing the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. Our guide uses forecasts and local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot we will dress in warm thermal suits and boots, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a homemade meal. During your Aurora Hunt activity our guide will take photos of you, which are for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. We'll collect data for our citizen science project. You'll follow our scientific method to collect data that will be used to protect our precious tundra.
Relax by the fire with hot chocolate before returning back to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our Aurora Hunters will do their best, every night of the season. Increase your chances to see the Northern Lights by joining on multiple evenings.

Welcome aboard the GPS-tracked Zodiac's for a private journey as you embark on a scenic boat cruise that will take you from the charming village of Vikanes to the picturesque haven of Stanghelle. While you enjoy nature, our crew has you under constant live-map GPS observation to monitor your progress and safety underway in the Fjord.
Anyone can operate these Zodiacs without a boating license and gently glide along the calm waters as the pristine beauty of the Veafjord surrounds you. These "Fjordiac's" have supreme stability and offer a connection with nature in a way that's simply impossible from the deck of a larger ship. Max 4 adult persons per boat (Or 2 adult and 3 kids).
