Welcome, Greenlander welcomes you on the most adventurous Northern Lights chase in the Northern Norway. You will be guided by a pro photographer (see proof from our Instagram or Facebook page,) who will safely take you around the perimeter on a 4x4 modified Mercedes Benz minivan.
The tour consists central pickup, home made soup, hot drinks, tripods, thermal suit, boots, campfire(if conditions allow,) Aurora portraits and so much more.
Greenlander has a reputation of not giving up and therefore having one of the highest success rates in the business, around 95%-98% chance of catching the elusive Northern Lights. Please consider, the weather can be harsh and sometimes we have to chase for hours, before we can even see first stars. This tour might not suit for elder and unfit participants.

Departing from Bergen, this new tour in 2024 offers hotel pickups from several centrally located hotels, the Tourist Information center, and the shopping center Storsenter. The bus will take you to Voss, where you will board the train to Myrdal. At Myrdal, you will switch to the Flåm Railway, Flåmsbanen, which will take you on a scenic ride down to Flåm.
In Flåm, you will have enough time for your lunch break, before you will board the fjord cruise to Gudvangen. This eco-friendly vessel will take you on a relaxing ride along the picturesque waterways, offering breathtaking views of the towering mountains and crystal-clear waters.
At Gudvangen you will have some free time, before the same bus will take you back to Bergen and drop you off at at the same place where you got on.

On board the bus there will be one professional driver and one experienced Northern Lights guide. Private tour is a great way to explore the Northern Lights scenery, as that way we can really customise the tour to match your needs or wishes. Either it's the late arrival social distancing, family holiday, group of friends/colleagues, demanding photographers or adventurers who want us to take you to the hilltops to get THE Northern Lights photo. It's also a great way to get 100% of guide's attention, to learn more about local history and nature and also about your camera settings, if you are keen to learn about Aurora photography.

This tour activity starts when we pick you up in Bergen and drive towards Skjeggedal which is the starting point for the hike to Trolltunga rock formation. In the way to Skjeggedal we make a quick stop at Steindalsfossen which is a beautiful waterfall you can walk under it and take wonderful pictures of this majestic scenery. Then we cross the magnificent Hardanger fiord in a ferry and keep on driving until we reach P3 Mågelitopp in Skjeggedal which is our starting point towards Trolltunga. It takes between 4 to 5 hours in average to reach the Trolltunga rock formation. We have lunch at this top, take the necessary pictures and prepare to walk back to the vehicle. Once back to the vehicle after the 20km hike and if time permits it, we will bring you to Låtefossen which is a breathtaking waterfall for more amazing pics. After this vist we will drive the same way back to Bergen.
