During the tour he will share stories about Troll, and its legends and myths. Of course, you are welcome to join our tour with or without a camera. Our guide will also take photos of the aurora to share. We provide you with all the gear needed (winter suits and dry boots), and like this you can fully enjoy this tour, even if it is freezing cold outside. Later in the evening Vidar will take your portrait and send it to you via email. We will spend plenty of time under the open sky; we will not miss anything up there! You will first stop at Stalheim hotel to enjoy the view of the stunning Nærøydalen valley, then take a drive down the Stalheimskleiva hairpin turn road and walk up close to the Stalheimsfossen waterfall, before coming to the charming village of Gudvangen.
In Gudvangen you can to witness the gorgeous Nærøyfjord - one of the two UNESCO World Heritage fjords. Here you can also visit a real modern day Viking Town (optional).
After Gudvangen, on to the famous Stegastein viewpoint above the Aurlandsfjord. In Aurland village, you can also visit the local Glass workshop (optional).
Duration of the tour: 4-4.5 hours. You may choose to either visit the Viking town or the Aurland Glass workshop, or none of the two – and have more time to soak up the natural beauty of the western fjords.
After pick-up in Bergen, we start the journey to the village of Gudvangen, and on the way we make a stop at Tvinde Waterfall where you can walk right up to the foot of the large waterfall. In the summer months we also stop at Stalheim where there is a breathtaking view down to the Naeröydal valley with steep mountains on all sides.
Well ahead in Gudvangen we board the electric ship "Future of the Fjords" to Flåm. The Unesco World Heritage site Nærøyfjord is surrounded by high mountains and is a beautiful sight both in summer and winter.
From Flåm, the trip continues with the dramatic and world-famous Flåm Railway which is one of the world's steepest railways. The 20-km train journey gives you a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent of Norwegian mountain nature, including the famous Kjosfossen waterfall. At Myrdal station, a train changes to the Bergen Railway which takes you to Voss where you are picked up and the car will take you back to Bergen.

Overlanding on board of a capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer. Based on weather conditions, we will discover the sandy beaches and deep fjords of Kvaløya island, or the back country sceneries of the mainland.
