Enjoy the Sami experience of reindeer sledding, where you'll enjoy a long sleigh ride (30 mins) pulled by a wild reindeer. Then feed a herd of 300 reindeer at the camp, and gather inside a traditional Sami tent for a hot meal and to listen to stories about Sami culture around the campfire. A Sami guide will also perform a joik, traditional folk song, for you, before return transportation to Tromsø.

During this 5-hour round trip of Kvaløya island, we take care of the full package: pictures of you and the landscape, local pastries, hot beverages, a knowledgeable guide and a driver that will show you the most beautiful spots in the area.
We will stop in many places to show you as much as possible during the tour. These breaks are also an excellent opportunity for spotting wildlife, like reindeer and sea eagles. Join us on this 4-hour fjord cruise to the scenic Osterfjord and Mostraumen Channel. Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of traveling through the majestic Norwegian fjords on a scenic boat tour departing from Bergen. On board the high speed catamaran you will experience the magnificent landscape in Bergen's nearby fjords and the Nordhordland region. When sailing out from Bergen's inner harbor you will have a great view to some of the oldest and most relevant historical sites in the city, including the medieval fortress Bergenhus, St Mary's Church and the colorful Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, which is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. A professional photographer helps you to capture the Northern Lights on your camera. You will also be able to request a professional portrait of you with the aurora (optional).
The tour does not have a pre-determined itinerary but adapts flexibly according to the visibility conditions found on the way. We may also stay in the same place if the weather conditions prove to be better there.

The reindeer and the Sami have been living and working on this land for centuries and they have only recently invited guests to be part of their daily life. You will visit their camp and have a chance to feed the herd of around 300 wild reindeer who will swarm all around and some will even eat from your hands. You will also enjoy a 15-20 minute sleigh ride pulled by the reindeer. You will then be invited for hot drinks around the fire inside a warm candle lit gamme (Traditional Sami Hut) where a relaxed three course meal will be served, including bidos cooked over the open fire (a traditional Sami stew).
After dinner you will be invited into a lavvu (Sami tent) and gather round the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests. If you are lucky and the sky is clear you will have a chance to see the northern lights above the reindeer camp.

Join us on this small group Northern Lights chase to maximise your chances of witnessing Earth's most magnificent light show from outer space, the Aurora Borealis.
We are experts at finding clear sky even in the most challenging weather conditions: In the winter season of 2022/23 we found clear sky on 97% of all chases and saw Northern Lights on 94% of all chases.

After pick-up in Bergen, we start the journey to the village of Gudvangen, and on the way we make a stop at Tvinde Waterfall where you can walk right up to the foot of the large waterfall. In the summer months we also stop at Stalheim where there is a breathtaking view down to the Naeröydal valley with steep mountains on all sides.
Well ahead in Gudvangen we board the electric ship "Future of the Fjords" to Flåm. The Unesco World Heritage site Nærøyfjord is surrounded by high mountains and is a beautiful sight both in summer and winter.
From Flåm, the trip continues with the dramatic and world-famous Flåm Railway which is one of the world's steepest railways. The 20-km train journey gives you a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent of Norwegian mountain nature, including the famous Kjosfossen waterfall. At Myrdal station, a train changes to the Bergen Railway which takes you to Voss where you are picked up and the car will take you back to Bergen.
